Got this more my puppy. He’s 15kg currently and pretty strong. He absolutely loves this. You have to remember the tip is plastic with the bungee cord so this is not a toy for them to tug about as I could imagine it causing an injury if the bungee were to snap out and fling at your dogs face. It is a chase and release toy not a tug toy. For a bitey puppy it helps to keep their teeth away from your arms and legs and gives them a focus to chase and wear them out! He loves running down the garden after it and you don’t have to put a lot of energy in yourself if you don’t want to as the long handle and length of bungee cord gives you a good amount of size to stand in one spot and circle it round you. So if you are disabled or struggle with energy this would be a great fun toy to play with your dog if you don’t want to have to move about too much.

Bought for my 7 month old puppy to tire him out, I can't recommend it enough! The smaller size is perfect for his age and weight. He's a staffie pup and I'll probably buy the larger size once this one has run its course.It's not going to last forever with a strong dog, eventually something will snap off etc. but it does come with a replacement lure. This also means you can attach anything you want to the end of the line, so if your dog isn't into rope toys you could try a soft toy or edible chew.It folds down to perfectly fit in a coat pocket so it would be great to take to the park etc.I would say that sometimes the locking mechanism can come undone mid play session which is a minor annoyance, although I would prefer that over a flirt pole that won't collapse.

Our dog loves the flirt pole, he could chase it for hours and on a walk it has distracted him from chasing other dogs or squirrels. We have had the item for just over a month and use it frequently. Upon opening the pole there was some problems with getting it to stay extended, but that's not a big deal; however, today I was extremely disappointed as the end pole from the retracting rod came dislodged during play, it whipped our poor boy in the face. We were still holding the other end of the pole, he let out an almighty yelp. I wouldn't have expected that to happen in just over a month of having it. We will try to find something similar that is more sturdy.

This is my third one of these. The only reason I've gone through three is because I have two staffies, one is 20kg and the other (a pup) is 12kg. This thing gets a lot of hardship in our house and is used daily for fun and training. I keep buying the same one because it is definitely the best I've come across. And as I said it gets some serious work in our house. The dogs love it and it's great for training if used right. Highly recommend !!!

My dog loves chasing the rope. Would of liked the rope to have been lighter in weight. Great way to exercise your dog when short of time or in a small space.

My pet did like it but the extendable pole is not durable and snapped. I have a very small puppy and I always play gently with her so I don’t feel the pole should have snapped.

Absolutely chuffed with this purchase! After attending an Interactive Play Workshop run by Craig Ogilvie (which I would thoroughly recommend to any and all dog owners), I decided to buy a flirt pole on his recommendation. His was a more expensive one (£30!) and I didn't want to spend that much on one. This was a great cheaper alternative and the bonus being that it collapses so I can store it much easier. It is also very light so easy to handle when playing with my dogs...whom love it. I bought the shorter one as I am quite short myself and have found the size ideal. The cord seems incredibly strong and has so far shown no weakness - have been using it for several weeks with 3 dogs, 2 large & 1 medium. A very useful product, especially when used correctly. Bonus was the 2 free toys that came with it. (I have swapped them for other toys my dogs prefer to chase but they have enjoyed playing fetch with the toys provided)Please note: this is not a tuggy toy. Can be used for gentle tugging if you "go with your dog" and don't tug against them in a strong/aggressive manner. Doing this will reduce the lifespan of the cord.

A great toy for my energetic australian shepherd. We have so much fun playing with this. Even great for indoor use -- great way for him to burn off energy inside the apartment.

Das Produkt ist leider nicht robust. Heute beim Spielen istv es kaputt gegangen und da hat mein Hund nicht mal dolle gezogen. Leider ist die reizangel auch zu kurz sodass die Hunde viel zu kleine Kreise laufen müssen und die Gefahr besteht das sie ausrutschen. Wie in unseren Fall. Keine klare kaufempfehlung.

Super zum Auspowern des Hundes! Macht Riesenspaß! Hätte auch gern eine längere Rute genommen, damit der Aktionsradius des Hundes größer wird. Meiner sieht sofort, wohin sich die Angel bewegen wird und nimmt eine Abkürzung. Aber sonst super!

Je hond zal dit speeltje fantastisch vinden, daarbij is het heel nuttig.
