Olight Max 3200 Lumens R50 PRO Seeker

Looked at the reviews, waited for price to fall and decided to get one. I’ve got other torches like this that I’ve bought of different sights on the internet but this out does them all, from the easy charging to the exceptional brightness this torch brings. It lights up half the estate I live on. I’m partially sighted with night blindness so need a good torch that can help me see while I take the dog for his late night walk round the block. Really happy with this and will use it every night in the winter time. So glad I took the plunge and got it.

An exceptionally bright, well built and useful torch. It has it strengths but also some minor weaknesses.It is unquestionably expensive. Having said that, it is a quality item that is worthy of a premium price albeit it is somewhat slanted maybe too much at the top end of the price bracket. Support is important when you buy something the expensive and Olight have a UK base which can provide after sales support and some spare parts such as replacement batteries. That's important as in many cases brand support comes in the form of an email address that is located in China.As other reviewers have stated, it does not have a focusing option but given how bright the torch is it's not really needed. The torch is comfortable in the hand but a minor issue here is it's not easy to locate the on/off rubber button in the dark as it's almost flush with the torch body. The body is round and prone to roll off a flat surface if placed on it's side. Not ideal. Cycling through the brightness options is a little fiddly until you get used to it. In this regard, I think the strobe setting is an unnecessary addition to the operating options.Without a shadow of a doubt it's nevertheless a fine and versatile torch that is extremely bright on the turbo setting and puts most other torches in the shade. It is an expensive torch but outside of a few minor niggles it's a top quality item that merits a five star rating.Update: After a few months the battery is not holding a decent charge. Unable to get a replacement battery from Olight as they have been out-of-stock for a couple of months. An expensive piece of much needed hardware that's now sitting in the office drawer for want of a new battery.Finally got a new replacement battery from Olight. However, same problem exists with the new battery. Unless the torch is left on trickle charger the battery goes flat with no use within 72 hours. Not ideal. In short, the replacement battery did not solve the discharging problem.

Nice product. Small compact but quality feel to it. Lights up large areas well for its size. Like the way it charges. Well made. Probably get cheaper torches that throw as much light but not in such a compact quality product.

Bought the torch SEP 2017. It is not a cheap item. Would have presumed it should work for more than two years. Battery can't be charged anymore with magnetic usb charger. Have to take battery and charge it with separate Li Ion charger. Not as robust as I thought.

Ordered this as I had seen people using this brand of torch on YouTube so wanted to see what the fuss is about. When it arrived I couldn’t believe how bright it was on its brightest setting it comes well packaged very pleased with my purchase might even purchase an even brighter one at some point

torch is 2 years old and only used a few times and the torch no longer charges the battery. This is a known issue with this torch as other owners have reviewed online
