Spigen Rugged Armor LG G5 Case with Resilient Shock Absorption and Carbon Fiber Design for LG G5 2016 - Black

I used this product for nearly 2-3 weeks and loved it. Its a great fit. The material used is very good and it feels sturdy and premium. The case is not slippery but smooth at the same time. I was intent on using it as my main phone cover but stumbled across a problem with it.I kept having problems with my phone's internet connection. After a few weeks of trouble shooting with the network provider, I was eventually advised to try using the phone without the case and it resolved the issue. But at the same time I was gutted because I really liked the case!This could be an isolated problem with my handset or the specific case that I bought. I am not sure. But if you buy this and face problems with the internet connection, try without the case. If you dont have a problem, you'll love the case!Update 13/08/2016: The problem with my internet recurred with a different case as well. So I sent my phone off for repair and lo behold its fine now. I reordered this case as I was smitten by it the first time around. I am glad to report that there are no problems with my data connectivity now even with the case on. So all in all, totally happy with the product. Its as good as ever and I definitely recommend it.

Arrived quickly and fits well. Perhaps the only downside if you want to fit it into a case that covers the front, then you probably would have to remove the Spigen cover. Looking at a belt carrier solution that allows me to the use both.

A phone case is essential if you want your phone to survive its contract life, or generally last more than a few weeks and a night out. Having lost a few to drops and falls over the years, I've become a convert to wrapping my phone in cellular bodyarmour. The Spigen Rugged Armour does exactly this. The case grips the phone tight and adds a few mm of hard plastic to the circumference of the phone. I haven't yet dropped it - I'm going to let fate intervene here - but it has been knocked about in my jacket pocket and rucksack, without any issues. So good so far. However, I would state that the nature of the case and the force that it grips the phone can cause issues for any screen protector you may have installed. I was using a thick plastic protector but this kept on peeling off at the edges. Lucky I had a slight lighter protector I could use. I still get a little movement on the edges but not enough to cause me any major issues. Air pockets more than anything. Please note you can't use this and the B&O dac or any other module that adds to the size of the phone.

I wasn't sure at first about getting this case as I wanted to get the spigen armor case. Unfortunately that takes 3-5 seeks to ship and I really needed a good case for my G5. After reading some reviews I decided to buy this case and all I can say sobfar is that I am very impressed. The case is snug but not overly tight and the cutouts for the buttons are perfect with every single one of them being dead centre. The volume buttons on the case actually improve the experience as on the g5 they are quite hard to press but with the case on they are far easier to find and make changing the volume a better experience. The actual case seems rugged and the carbon fibre texture just adds that bit of style to the case, although grippines is not this cases strong point the case does not feel as though it is going to slip out if my hand any time soon.

Bought this to replace a previous, more minimal Spigen case. It's a pretty perfect fit to the phone, but I did have the problem described by others where the case pushes the screen protector up at the edges. I also found that it seems to block the phone's NFC - had to remove the case to make a payment.

Sleek, uniform and stylish black design. It's pretty low profile and doesn't add any bulk to the phone but at the same time gives the phone protection worth buying. Raised bevel protects the screen while face down on tables and such, the silicon and carbon fiber back prevents any of the plastic coated metal backing of the G5 from scratching. The machine cut holes and ports for the phone are all perfect and don't prevent any of my jack plugs, usb type c chargers from plugging in. I opted for a case without a screen cover because i hated the fact i had to unclip and reclip, flip whatever you want to say every time i went to check/use my phone, a open front case is so convenient.TL:DR,Great case, looks good... good value.

This case has been amazing for me. Im extremely clumsy and i would probably have needed a new phone by now id id got any other case. This sounds like a bouncy ball when you drop it from say i really high place like down your stairs and bounces along your hallway and hits your front door. And my poor phone was fully protected. Also free from twin toddlees who thought it would be funny to hold it againt the wall one day and let it hit the skirting board and did it about 5xs until i realised it was indeed my phone. Haha. I love this case. Its looks nice aswel. And not bulky. Very happy

I've been using this case for around 4 months, and it's offered great protection to my LG G5. It's does add bulk to the handset, but not an unacceptable amount and less than some alternatives I've seen. Having dropped my phone from a height of around 50cm twice, once onto a hard wood floor and the second time onto a tiled floor, the phone is none the worse and the case not a mark.The case looks pretty good, feels nice in the hand and really good value for money. Another bonus is the case gives the phone a much better grip in the hand than having no case at all.
