Very sturdy
Excellent grip. I use my nail to stick the tea towel in. No trouble with adhesion at all. I actually want to move them but will need a chisel or something, I cant pull them off Lol!Update 26/1I have now moved them (without a chisel) and cant believe they are sticking to the new surface no problem! They were originally, stupidly, stuck on a wooden kitchen drawer for over a month. I couldn't pull it off so I stuck a knife at the top and levered it and it came off - sticky pad in one piece. I then stuck it to a metal strip at end of the counter (far more appropriate doh!) and it has stuck there. It has been there for nearly a week now and is very secure even though the strip isn't as wide as the pad. Not loose at all.The second one I repositioned onto a wooden surface and this too is still stuck after being moved.Cant understand why they didn't stick for others???

Fit for purpose and stylish too
I was almost put off by some reviews but I dont know what there is to complain about. They were really easy and quick to fit and have stayed secure for weeks now with no sign they'll drop off as some have stated. They look stylish and so quick to use - push your tea towel in and it's secure. Just as easily removed when required. Lovely addition to my new, contemporary fitted kitchen.

Original looking
Second time I buy this product and very happy with the design and purpose. The only downside, you need to add extra glue to make sure they stay in place as after few days they end up on the floor.

Excellent Quality Towel Holders
This is the second set of these we've had - the reason for buying again was that we replaced our fridge/freezer to which the old ones had been stuck for about the last ten years.Whilst I can see that many other reviewers have had issues with these items not sticking to the surfaces, I can honestly say that we have had no issues at all, so perhaps sticking them to different surfaces will produce different results. It is important to read the instruction to these, however. The surface you are sticking the to needs to be incredibly clean, with the suggestion being to use an alcohol wipe. Do not use household cleaners as they will leave a residue that will reduce adhesion. In the instruction, it's also clear that you need to leave these in place, without using them, for 24 hours - this is to allow the adhesive to do its thing and ensure a firm stick.I would imagine that these would stick to any smooth and clean surface and certainly our new ones have been in place for a month, in daily use with tea towels and show no sign of budging.

These won't stay fixed so waste of time!
Sorry Lakeland I really wanted these to work but have had nothing but problems. My parents used to have something like these and the concept is excellent for holding the kitchen towel and tea towel. These have a sticky back that you press on to the area where you want to locate them, then leave them for 24 hours before using them. The first pack I bought we left them over a weekend whilst we were away and then put the towel and tea towel into the gripper when we got back. Sadly after just a couple of days we found them on the floor - the gripper section had come away from the sticky back and dropped off whilst the sticky back was still in the cupboard wall. We had to use nail varnish remover to get the sticky bit off the cupboard, Amazon were very good and refunded me for those and I ordered another pack thinking maybe I had had a faulty set however the second set has now done the same. The only way we can think of making them stay up,permanently is to maybe nail them into the cupboard! Such a shame that they don't stay put as it is much better than trying to hang the tea towels and towel on a hook!

INADEQUATE ADHESIVE
The product looks great, but after one week it came off the cupboard leaving the adhesive sticker behind. I super-glued it back on, it now seems fine and works well, so if you purchase this item, I would advise buying a good quality super-glue at the same time.

Nice update on an old design
These towel holders fit perfectly to the inside of my under sink kitchen cabinet. They grip the towels very well and allow them to dry.We have learnt to use lighter weight hand towels because when we used a thicker towel the holder fell off. It was easy to re-stick using our own glue but the adhesive pad on the back wasn’t strong enough on its own to re-stick it.The stainless steel look is a great update on the old plastic version. They look good and do a good job.

Look great, but came unstuck...
Really like the look of these, and they were a good price, but unfortunately, both fell off fairly soon after putting them up. The first one fell off after a couple of days, the second one lasted longer, but came off within a few weeks. They were fine with just one, light, tea towel in them, but if a second tea towel was put in, they fell off by the next morning. At least the sticky stuff was fairly easy to remove from the unit after they came off.
