I personally really like Pink Sun products, this review is more for people who like a hot traditional old style cocoa drink before bedtime. This is a lower fat content cocoa of 11%.....I normally buy the Pink Sun 22% fat cocoa but as I am a bit calorie conscious I thought I would try this one. Sadly although the flavour was good I found the cocoa tasted thin and watery compared to the higher fat one. I do use skimmed milk which may effect things. It may be worth considering this before buying if you want it as a hot drink. Their other product is just fabulous......Thank you Pink Sun.

PLEASE READ THIS LONG POST ENTIRELY TO FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS.It's ok, but much higher in carbs than I realized. I'll use it for making keto fat bombs or in bulletproof coffee and chocolate drinks, but then I'll return to using Tesco's own brand 'deeply Chocolatey' cocoa powder, that's surprisingly very high in cacao content and much lower in carbs. I bought the Pink Sun one thinking it would be better for a ketogenic lifestyle. It isn't. However, I buy many other Pink Sun items and overall they're excellent. I just got caught out with this one, as I didn't think to check the macros out, as I'm used to their other products being amazing in that respect. Please bear in mind that this is a PERSONAL issue that I've only knocked down the item 1 star because of the higher carb count and the Tesco brand is less than a third of this and double the fats. If you aren't on a 'keto' or low carb high fat diet then this product is excellent and very well priced.Addendum:After being in prolonged personal contact with Pink Sun, they have actually checked in depth the macros of their product and compared it to Tesco's. They found that the values don't correlate because I'VE incorrectly calculated the macros on a per serving basis. Therefore I divided the per 100g figures of Pink Sun to get a 10g serving. I then compared it to Tesco's brand (which is still good) but I've compared a 4g serving of the Tesco brand, to a 10g serving of the Pink Sun brand. So please accept my apologies if I mislead anyone. It was MY oversight. The customer service from Pink Sun has been EXCEPTIONAL towards my issue. For that alone I applaud them. Plus I will revert back to using this product as it is better quality than I first worked out.I've therefore changed my rating to a 5*

Perfect for making chocolate porridge for my young son.Organic oats, cacao powder, cacao butter drops, jersey milk = happy child with lots of energy.

I brought this instead of regular hot chocolate, I make it with califia barista oat milk, add my own sugar to tastes, its a lot less calories and also less caffeine than my regular coffee intake whats not to like.

Warning to all, this is CACAO powder and not COCOA powder. There is a difference, but Amazon search will show you Cacao powder even if you search for Cocoa, and vice versa. That said, provided you understand the difference, I find cacao powder offers excellent depth of flavour. I made cake with this and it tasted VERY GOOD.Taking one star off because I initially bought thinking it was cocoa powder, and the ziplock mechanism on the bag could be designed better. Just nitpicking. but the actual product in the bag is 5 star quality.

This is an excellent cocoa powder for smoothies. It has the slightly sour taste of raw cocoa rather than dutched baking cocoa, and it's more of an acquired taste for hot chocolate or cooked dishes, but it's great to have blended with some greens and fruit in the morning.The packaging has generally been ok, but my most recent bag had the resealable part split away from the main packaging the first time I opened it, which is annoying. I haven't had problems the other times I've bought it.
