I’m extremely impressed with the high quality of these earphones and they’ve completely exceeded my expectations, especially as I’ve “downgraded” from using IEMs back to regular wired earphones. They’re quite possibly the best sounding standard earphones I’ve ever used and I would highly recommend purchasing them because for only £15 (at time of purchase), the quality you get is incredible and well worth the money. I’d been relying on one pair of IEMs for all of my music devices as the rest of my earphones are either faulty or provide a poor listening experience. My IEMs are decent but are quite uncomfortable and I just couldn’t get them to fit snugly in my ears, I needed something cheap but effective as I’m quite fussy with sound quality and it’s very rare that I like a pair of earphones from the moment I start using them, but needless to say these definitely didn’t disappoint. These earphones have a minimal, sleek design and they feel quite durable, they come with various sized rubber tips which are super comfortable and gave me a perfect, secure fit which hasn’t seemed to move around or slip out of my ears unlike my IEMs. The button for phone calls is a nice feature but I can’t comment on this as I’m using these for older music devices. I’ve currently used these on a Sony Minidisc & CD Walkman both from the early 2000s and I couldn’t believe how brilliant they sounded on both devices even without any EQ settings applied (which is something I usually rely heavy upon), I have no doubt that they’ll sound just as good when used on my other music and video devices. There’s a perfect balance of Treble & Bass which isn’t overpowering and provides a comfortable and very enjoyable listening experience without sounding flat, tinny or excessively bassy. Everything sounds crystal clear and there’s no distortion, even at high levels of volume, or muddiness so you can clearly hear all the instruments, sounds and vocals in a surround sound style. Overall, they’re a very well made, top quality pair of earphones which easily rival my IEMs and I’m very pleased that I chose these 😊

Great design and sound as usual for Sony in this price range. Warm smooth soundstage, good quality (at this price), slightly emphasized bass, great little mic for calls or headset use with a TRRS adapter in PC etc. Update: Comfort, I forgot comfort. They are good. They actually have quite a low profile so you do have to push them in quite a bit, and they have different rubber tips for different ears. I know some people cannot wear any IEMS, they hurt or fall out, but these Sony's are a good start to try if you want to test, and if you open the blister pack carefully, you could test them, then if no good for you you could always boil the earpads and return the product if packed neatly I guess. Amazon is good like that. Also if you always have problems with IEM's, don't give up, look at ZenPlugs or Shure or Comply Tips etc, or the wax custom ones, there's lots out there! You will need to spend more, but you'll be getting higher-end IEM's anyway which can only be good for your audio experience. You can definitely notice better sound quality over the cheaper MDR-EX15 after burn-in/wear-in. Vocals and natural instruments details don't shine in with these, these are more for overall digital use like electronic, pop, rnb, bass music & movies/tv phone calls etc. If you're looking for clear mids and highs, you wanna spend a touch more for something more well balanced, and I think most Sony's until the premium ones like £50+ are more v shaped like these so maybe another brand (SoundMagic for instance). Another brand would price similar quality to these at £20, if you can find one which has a mic as good as this (I doubt it). I've had 20+ pairs of earphones (IEM's) in case you were wondering how I'd know that.

If you are old school like me, and are not into wireless earpods, then these are the earphones for you! I have tried so many different brands of earphones over the years and always come back to these Sony ones. I have purchased these 3 times before, but only as I have lost them, they have never been damaged or have stopped working. One of the reasons that I love these so much is because I need to sleep listening to something as my partner snores so loud. These are the only earphones that fit properly in my ears, stay in all night and are so comfortable you don’t even notice they are there. I’ve purchased emergency headphones in a supermarket before when I lost these, and they hurt my ears so much when I tried to sleep wearing them. The Sony headphones are perfectly compact and designed to fit snugly in your ears for complete comfort, and they never slip out. The sound quality of these earphones is first-rate, the sound is clear and crisp. Unlike other headphones where bass can be lacking, these have good bass. They are also great at cancelling out unwanted noise, I can testify to this with my partners loud snoring! I rarely use the microphone, but when I do it does the job if required. The inline controls are great for on the go, but as I wear the earphones in bed they can sometimes trigger when I roll over them by accident. The cable is really long which is great for when my phone is in my pocket, or in my backpack when raining. The drawback is that it can easily tangle or even catch on things and pull out a earphone on occasion. Packaging small and mostly cardboard which is recyclable and even some of the old plastic packaging is now compostable which is always a welcome addition! Great to have extra silicone rubber earbuds included incase of loss or different ear sizes. Overall, an excellent pair of earphones that are outstanding value for money! Good sound quality, durable, comfortable and look great as well!

I cannot praise this item enough. I had been through so many expensive earbuds, some I returned, others I threw in a corner. They were all bad quality. One had no bass, only a tinny treble which sent needles through my head. This Sony item is perfectly balanced. Not only does it have a good bass, you can also hear every word of a song. The audio is mellow and comfortable, so are the earbuds themselves. Worth every penny!

I was a bit doubtful about these as I'm quite particular about the bass sound coming across when I listen to music. The microphone performs very well for the price and the earphones are easy to use. Unlike some earphones, I had no issues with the fit of the earbuds, which was a pleasant surprise: in the event of the earbuds not fitting as well as you'd like, it comes with multiple sizes. The only issue I would say I have with these is the sound: I'm used to a bass boost and these feel more easy listening - all of the aspects in the music are quite levelled and even, which was slightly disappointing. With all of that said, for the price, I think these are a good investment if a bass boost isn't a priority for you.

I’ve purchased many of these wired earbuds in the past simple due to being the best value for the quality years ago. This does have a flaw at being known to break over a period of 6 months but this could’ve also been me having handles these earbuds badly. They fit snuggly and comfortably in my ear. The sound quality is very clear with a decent amount of bass. These have been more of a nostalgic piece of tech to me more than something I would highly recommend. Sony has release many other better earbuds since this, so I’m glad they have been going in a better direction.

Mic is good, sound is pretty good (a little distorted) but can be pushed quite hard. I use these as my media earphones for use with my phone commuting to and from school each day. Very good, the cable is thin though and tangles fairly easily. The in-ear inserts come in 4 sizes and mine fit very well and comfortably without need for fiddling about to get a good seal. The noise isolation is very good and blocks out most if not all noise when listening to music. The cable is quite grippy but like all earphones make noise when the wind blows against the cable. Even if you wear it around your ear. But overall very good value for money and would buy again. EDIT: would not recommend, these have just broken after 1-2 weeks. sending them back for a refund and plan to get a better reviewed and more well known in ear. although keep in mind that i may have just had a faulty product, but for what it is and what it cost there are better alternatives. but overall these are nice earphones but the reliability in my case with very minimum wear was a huge let down

The sound quality obviously surpasses Apple wired earpods after being fully run in.

A mouse ate my old EXTRA BASS Sony earbuds, so I was apprehensive about finding a pair to match their quality—but these are crisp and punchy. These are exactly what I was looking for, and are definitely worth the price.

These are my favorite pair of earbuds hands down. I loose earbuds semi-frequently, so I’ve had at least 5+ of these over the past 4 ish years. I don’t think I’ve ever had a pair break on me, with the exception of the protective rubber connecting the earbud head to the cord on my last pair, which I had for close to a year. Never affected the sound, I just taped it and it was fine. I should mention that pair also went through the laundry multiple times and remained totally fine after drying out. They’re very comfortable to wear, and I can wear them while lying on my side without any discomfort. What made me suddenly remember to finally write a review is the sound quality, which imo is very good for the money. I recently decided to try true wireless earbuds again (i don’t trust myself with them RE: me loosing 5 pairs of these earbuds that aren’t in 3 separate pieces I could loose any one of) and picked up the beats fit pro for 160$. I know with true wireless earbuds you’re mainly paying for the convenience of Bluetooth + other misc quality of life features, and comparing wired to Bluetooth earbuds isn’t really a fair fight, but these earbuds outperform the beats fit pro in terms of sound quality to a degree that is embarrassing for a 160$ pair of earbuds. The mic isn’t the greatest, and I usually unplug the earbuds to make calls, but microphone quality isn’t really a feature I care about at all in a 20-30$ pair of earbuds beyond just “it’s there,” so I’m not taking off a star for that. Overall a solid pair of earbuds with good fit, sound quality, and durability. As an added bonus, sometime over the period I’ve been getting them the packing has been redesigned to be almost entirely recyclable, which I appreciate.

Come da descrizione. Il suono è nitido, le cuffie comodissime e la presa angolata è molto piu comoda rispetto a quella dei normali auricolari. Per la qualità il prezzo è giustissimo. Non sono cuffie miracolose, ma per poco meno di 20 euro, è un ottimo prodotto che, fornito anche di diverse misure di "tappi", permette di adattarsi a qualsiasi orecchio senza stancare o risultare troppo ingombranti o poco presenti. A mio avviso, un must buy se avete bisogno di buone cuffiette ma a poco prezzo.

音質は通話程度ならなんの文句もなく優秀。 音楽を聞くには若干重低音が響き高音のシャリシャリが少ないかなといったところ。 ゲームでは使っていない。 コードが細く長いので絡まりやすいので、持っていたクリップで固定している。 この値段なら付属していてもいいのに。
