I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but this hip ice pack genuinely exceeded my expectations. Used following a full hip replacement really helped

I bought this ice pack to put on my hips for bursitis relief. Unfortunately it has not helped my bursitis pains, so I may try heat for this instead. Regrettably this ice pack cannot be used for hot water so is no use to me at this time. I thought it was a bit too expensive really and I wish that I had not bought it, but the ice pack is of good quality and a good size. It will come in handy for future pains which need an ice pack for relief though.

After a hip replacement, I had the usual swelling. The gel pad was very easy to use and it stayed in place. I would certainly recommend it.

Perfect for post-op Total Hip Replacement . Having just had a new hip I have found that cold therapy is really effective for keeping swelling and pain to a minimum. This is much better than trying to use ice packs .TIP: Before freezing it , I wrap it around an empty 2 litre plastic milk bottle . It takes up this shape as it freezes and I just need to cup it over my hip and tighten up the velcro straps when I want to use it . I do 20 mins on hip the slip it down to my knee area for another 20 mins .... (This would be good for back pain also.) PS this is NOT for heat therapy as description might make you think . But used as an ice pack I would highly recommend.

Not comfortable at all

after researching lots of post op “options” for helping my recovery; I was pointed in the direction of Ice/cool wraps for my hip.I read the reviews on this one good and bad and took the chance.this simple yet very very helpful wrap has been my best friend whilst recovering from hipArthroscopic surgery, it’s relieved pain and swelling.I never post reviews but if this can helpSomeone in a similar situation I hope it will. Everything about the product is perfect I’m going to order a second one so one can be in the freezer whilst I’m using one x

I saw this, read the reviews and ordered for my hip replacement. It has been the best thing I’ve used to help in my recovery. The absolute relief when you put it on is unbelievable. I would highly recommend and will use it for other aches and pains too.
