Nice little tool for making sure your turntable is nice and level.I purchased a new turntable in June and initially set things up using a small pocket level. These levels from Ortofon though are even better, due to the size, you can place easily just about anywhere on the turntable plinth and leave there if you should desire. Size wise, this level is bigger than I first had thought ( some are really tiny) - it’s roughly the size of a £2 coin and decent quality.The underside was also perfect and smooth, I had no issues with any extra plastic bits, as one customer did.My turntable was just about perfect to begin with, a very slight adjustment and the level was bang on,I was a little Sceptical at first, paying £7 for a relatively small piece of plastic, but it’s proved to be well worth it. Decent quality and added peace of mind that your turntable is nice and level.I’m going to recommend this tool for anyone with a turntable.

Set up my turntable with a traditional spirit level, then got this. Set up was spot on, now if I have to move turntable I check again with this...easy and inexpensive.

When I received mine, there was a little plastic nib on the bottom of the unit on the circumference of the circle. This is the kind of plastic nib that gets left behind due to the moulding process. Unfortunately it was lifting that part of the level up and throwing it off centre. I took a glass nail file to remove the excess material to fix it. This really shouldn't have happened in the first place as a fundamental for a spirit level is to have a completely flat bottom.
