It does work - up to a point but as I suffer a lot of nerve pain with fibromyalgia, it gives me an unpleasant sensation. I should have known that a cooling feeling would numb areas, which is logical but I didn't bank on the unpleasant 'heavy' feeling it gave me. Maybe it's not suitable for between the shoulder blades?It might be ok for others who don't have nerve pain as such though - but I think I will stick to the warming products, that don't render areas so numb and weird feeling!UPDATE: I persevered with this for a while longer and guess what? It works! If you continue with it for a few days it actually reduces the overall pain and helps break that negative cycle....very good.

Works extremely well for me. Fell off a ladder but managed to grab hold of the ledge to control my fall slightly, but the grabbing action meant my left arm took full brunt and was sprained.Step in Dr internet who suggested compression and cold packs. As a result used ice packs for most the part, but not always ideal so picked up this gel. It works very well and is fast acting. The tube at 30ml is pretty small which is why if you injured a bigger body part will mean it gets expensive as 30ml does not get you far. For my arm I can apply couple of applications daily for about 5 days which took care of most my issues. But if you do in a leg for example may need more gel.Apply a thin film and let it do its magic. Do not massage it in unlike others. Also do not try to be too economical with it by trying to spread out a tiny amount over a massive area, will not do much and be a waste of gel.Overall well pleased and means I can alternate with ice packs. Its expensive or rather 30ml is small so for those with injuries or needing to cover a wide area, may need to pick up more, just happy it works well. Final comment, the gel is green but it blends on fine when on the skin, just be cautious to not get it on the outside cloths or something, can leave a slight green stain unless cleaned quick.

I have osteo-arthritis in various joints and esp in my hands, but it is a nuisance rather than painful. However I have developed erosive arthritis in my ring finger and it is really painful. As an alternative to a cortisone injection ( I hate needles and I have a lot of allergies) I tried Biofreeze Spray that I'd got for a bout muscle pain and was amazed how tolerable the joint pain has become. I got Biofreeze gel as it seemed easier to carry around and it seems to work slightly better.Such a simple solution!

A gel that worked quite well on my wrists and thumb bases but not so effective on knees. Very cooling with a strong smell of menthol.

Used for tprn muscle. Massaged it in, and did required movements for healing. Couldn't fall asleep from level of pain, before this, even after taking 600mg of ibuprofen. This is the oy thing that helped.. pricey for its little size, but worth ut, couldn't do without it. Recently used for sore and stiff neck due to using wrong pillow.

This product is very good ,better than some on the high street, use it all the time ,best get the larger dispenser better value for money, essy to use .

I've been using this for a sprained ankle.Have mainly used in between icing and before bed. Has helped with swelling and pain.Is better than sprays and other gels I've used in the past.I brought the 30ml, is pricey compared to other things but worth a go.

This stuff is amazing… I love it! My chiropractor used it on me after treatment for painful tennis elbow. What’s also great is that it’s 100% natural. For me wanting to use it before, during and after sport, the “Roll-on” 89ml size is my go to pain relief, as it saves me having to wash my hands immediately after application. Great product.
