Serving Bowl Karahi Indian Dishes Serveware Set Of 2

Bought as a gift for my brother who likes to do a bit of cooking. Really good value for money. They are heavy and feel solid and excude quality. They are also very stylish. Ironically the first thing to be eaten from one was my 2 year old niece's corn flakes. She really enjoyed the experience of using her Daddies new dishes.

They look fabulous and heavy bowls. Only reason for a 4 is that the screws at the side are a bit sharp and also water gets in the screw holes when washing so you have to be careful on not really submerge them in the water or give them a good shake when drying.

They look great when they are new but start to tarnish after a couple of uses

Smaller than advertised, only useable for a single portion and shipped from India so returns are expensive

Bought these for my daughter's school cooking comp, for a curry and rice dish. They are pleasingly finished, and weighty, perhaps slightly on small side measuring 150 mm in diameter, ( inside measurement ) but ok for a single serving, possibly two. Good for our purposes.The handles are riveted strongly, the bowls are 50 mm deep.The copper has an almost hand beaten appearance, though I expect the copper is rolled through a process. Very good value and they look properly authentic.

Very pleased with these. Impressively heavy - quite an expensive feel. They have not scrimped on the amount of metal used in the manufacture of these bowls. The "beaten" finish of the copper and the mirror steel on the inside are eye catching and quite beautiful really. Actually quite surprising for just under £7 each. Don't often get stuff like this at this price level nowadays. Will definitely be ordering some more
