Another quality Philips product
This is my second Philips LED purchase (the first was a regular shaped 9w). I am really impressed with these lamps. The light is instant, and the tone is massively superior to the old CFL low energy lamps. These are made in China, but I do trust the Philips brand and have always found their lamps to be superior. For the first time I feel low energy lamp technology has reached a point where it's worth paying the extra to eventually replace all the candle bulbs in the house as they eventually burn out.

Does the job!
So after needing an E14 for a lamp, I started looking for a smart bulb.E14 Smart bulbs are expensive! And they're not that great. Instead, I decided to go down the plug route. As this was for a lamp, I decided to buy a cheap bulb and use a smart plug. This one worked fine for the Ikea lamp it is used in. Soft bedroom light :) Would recommend.

Good quality but only 6 of 7 bulbs ordered worked
They seem pretty good quality and give off a decent, subdued light. Low wattage and hopefully long life so should recoup some of the upfront bulb costs from this. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that of the 7 bulbs ordered only 6 actually worked.

Good quality, long-life LED replacement
Exact replacement (wattage) for a halogen in a lamp that had given up, so exactly what I wanted in terms of the brightness and glow.The packaging advises a 15-year / 15,000 hours average life (2 ¾ hours every day), so with that in mind its worth investing in LED for the life span of the bulb and the energy saving.Very pleased with the purchase!

Pleasing colour
Difficult to rate reliability, time will tell but I have always liked the warm white colour of all Philips bulbs so will continue to choose them when required. Good value for money.
