V-Moda Faders Tuned Metal Earplugs - Rouge

I bought them for DJ ing in loud clubs , so one night i took the for a test , i did wear them even when mixing ( what i usually don`t do with other earplugs ) but sound on these is decently clear , so you hear everything but higs and mids are tuned down a bit . they stick out of ear a bit , so that can be a problem when puting the headphones on , but not so big deal . in the morning i was little surprised that i still felt mild humming in ears but when i think over i think that`s normal beacuse they cut only 12 db . and i`ve been in loud club for like 6 hours ,so that is the reason you can mix with them and hear everything but tuned down , as i said before other earplugs that cut more db , i could waer them in club all night , but not when mixing beacuse sound was muffled, comfort could be better , i put the biggest fittings on because with medium i felt that seal is not so good , with large fittings isolation is great but little bit tight on ears , but everyone have different ear canal so that` s only me , but on the other side isolaton is great they don`t let the sound except for the filters and that is the point . i hope that i help someone who want to try these . For DJ s i would recommend beacuse these are great quality plugs , they are doing the job and look extremely durable. and price is more than nice.

These are great for any loud and brash environments of sustained volume. Im a dj, used them 3 times in 2 separate environments and they worked perfectly, the music sounded great but not ear drum destroying! In places with cheap sound systems you need ear protection if your going to be in these situations maybe twice a week.Only negative, they do muffle the sound slightly. But for the price, you cant complain!

Brilliant. Kept the noise down and never had the ear ringing the following day. Ideal for live performance clubs eye. Only negative this is the holder is small and could do with a clip or something so you can clip onto bag or pocket as so small you can't find the holder in your bag!!

I use these professionally and they work wonders! The sound is dampened at gigs but I can still get a spectral feel for the sound.It's also nice to be able to unscrew the cord if not needed. The case also makes a good way to have these round one's neck when at gigs and not in use.

They are well designed and look really good in the ears, like you’re a pro wearing them. However, they are heavy and tend to fall out during play (drumming). Due to their weight they slip out of the ears even when pushed in tight to form a weak air seal. The other issue I have is that they block out too much sound overall for my purposes. I cannot hear the keyboard player properly and so often miss beats due to not being able to hear quieter notes even though they are not very quiet really, just quieter than the very loud playing. Overall, I have to continue my search for a pair to use for drumming and music playing in a band.

Very good quality product, very good shout for the price you pay, the carry case is just perfect for keeping them clean and out the way when not in use.

Brought these for a large indoor rave and wanted to be able to keep my hearing when I left so I brought two pairs for me and my girlfriend and they work amazing I could hear the music so clearly but without any harsh sounds had them in for 7 hours and never even noticed they was in my ears amazing for what they are worth just to keep my hearing for life aha.....

Well, they're not evil or anything, but they don't block out much sound.

I do work running audio for a small touring dance competition. I am normally set up house left right underneath the speaker and I was worried about my hearing. I have been using V-Moda headsets for the past 6 years, knowing the build quality of those products I took a chance on these.They are FANTASTIC. I was looking for something that would "turn down" the sound, not "turn it off" i am still able to not only hear the audio, but the quality of the audio coming out of the speakers in case I need to make any adjustments on the fly.The main body of the plugs are great and have a similar build quality to their other products, but the cord that hold them feels flimsy and cheap, I thought it was going to feel more like their braided 3.5mm wires that I've received their other products but it does not. I wish it was a little heavier and felt more sturdy. Other than that these are amazing.i definitely recommend these for anyone working in an industry where they have to be in loud environments for long periods of time, or for someone who like to go out to concerts or clubs or want to protect their hearing but also want to still hear the ambient music without loosing a lot of fidelity.

Really comfy and they work very well

dj by profession. i compared them against the custom made ear plugs. these cut the the sound in a better way and definitely make it easier to talk/listen in such loud environments. i can dj whilst wearing them.
