This stuff might work, but then again who would know since there is no instruction on how much of the stuff to use, suppose to be pet safe but is it still pet safe if I put far to much of it in ? I don't know and unwilling to take the risk, so when it says put 3 heaped spoons per 25Ltr I can only play on the safe side and use Teaspoons in case Tablepoons are far to much and make my dog and cats sick (or worse). A product like this must have proper instructions or it renders it useless so despite not knowing whether this product works or not I can only give it 1 star based on how useless it is without instruction.

No measuring spoon included so assumed that a "spoonful" meant a tablespoon, i.e. 15 ml. Kind of works but some algae still develops despite using 4 tablespoons in 30 litres of water (when 2 spoonfuls should have been enough) and water feature is permanently in the shade.

It cleans the water features really well. Only thing I would change is on the instructions it says a spoonful per 25 litres but doesn’t state what size spoon. I emailed them and it’s a teaspoon

I've tried other water treatment products but this is the best one I've found and it works a treat. Only slight negative is that the instructions say use 2 spoonful's but no spoon is provided and it doesn't say what size spoon??

Fountain Safe really does work! Made the mistake of purchasing another product proclaiming to do the same thing from a well know DIY store - not cheap at £9.95, absolutely rubbish! My water features were full of algae in no time. Cleaned most of it out, added Fountain Fresh and it took care of the remaining algae - two weeks later still have sparkling clear water. Very happy.

This product is brilliant as is the water in my water feature now. Saw this being used by Charlie Dimmock on a garden show and thought I would give it a try. Normally I deep clean my water feature and all the stones but after a few weeks it is back green. Not now crystal clear. So good I ordered 12 months supply and a pack for my brother in law. What a good find, especially as it is pet and child safe. Would highly recommend

Put a pinch of this into my miniature fountain every so often to prevent blockage. Seems to be working well

Sorry at the moment we have not used it but did read the reviews on the fountain cleaner so l'm sure it will be ok
