Bought this case as I tend to have butter fingers with phones, dropped my S8+ the same day I bought it but thankfully no damage!The case itself is sturdy and easily assembled though the charge point cover can pop off once the case is seperated (6 small allen key screws but keys and additional screws were provided, as foe the cover its basically a bit of rubber with a small rubber flap that gets held in place once the case is sealed) and can be a bit fiddly to put back into place when its time to reassemble but you'll get there.The case is a metal design with soft rubber surrounding the outside edges, a rubber pad on the back which helps it not to slide all over the place and it actually feels like decent quality when you have it in your hand.Now you've probably read previous reviews saying that it makes your phone feel like ton weight....well my S8+ was already a heavy phone and you have to consider the fact that you are adding layers of metal and rubber to it's existing weight so it will obviously feel heavier, the question you have to ask yourself is 'do you want it protacted?' If so then deal with it.Also the headphone jack cover on mine remains in place and doesn't 'flap around'.The one thing I will say (kind of common sense) is that if you are going to add a tempered glass screen protector to your phone take it out the case first and don't try and be a hero ;-)

I keep dropping my phone and it's very expensive to replace the screen so I though I'd get a good strong case.This one fits the bill. It's very solid and while I have not drop tested it, I am very confident that the phone will survive next time it gets away form my butter fingers!It doesn't have a screen protector, but the raised edge should prevent damage. I've added a separate toughened glass protector anyway - and had no trouble getting it all into this case.Supplied alan key and screws hold everything firmly together.Unlike other users, I've had no issue with any of the phone controls or ports. Everything works just fine.Only downside it that the whole package no longer fits into my motorcycle phone holder - but a new phone holder is many times cheeper than a new screen so not going to drop any stars for that!Overall very happy.

This case certainly feels tough. Metal casing that needs to be screwed around the phone with thick rubber around the sides for absorbing big knocks. I haven't used the phone in any hazard prone situations or experimented with dropping it from various heights onto concrete, but it looks like it can take a good kicking (this is not a guarantee on my part, by the way).Why only 4 stars?1) There is no screen or camera cover. I would have thought that something essential in a cover advertising itself as a "military rugged" cover2) The sockets are very well protected. However, this meant that some shorter din audio plugs wouldn't fit3) The style - and this is a very pernickety of me - is bulky and rugged (as the description suggests). If you are a driving around in an SUV, CAT boot wearing ,utility trousers with pockets on the thighs kind of gal, then this phone is for you. I'm not.Apart from that, a four star purchase

the case itself is strong sturdy and heavy ,adding real protection to the phone inside.I really like the phone and feel . it protects my phone and looks great too and works well with my tempered glass screen protector , the only thing I am confused about is in the instructions sent via email as it says not to tighten the screws too much but in the q&a s there is an answer that says no you cannot tighten the screws up too much ,overall my best case and would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting proper protection for their smartphonecame with 2 screwdrivers and 2 sets of x3 screws (for future ) as well as the 6 original screwsdelivery good time and great customer service as I had to get in touch

Nice and easy to fit it dies make the phone heavier and bigger but if you like big phones its no big deal. The s8+ is rather huge anyway 😂 I was worried about the lack of protection at the front but ive had a few drops and no visible damage to my phone at all. It feels incredibly sturdy and since its metal and rubber i trust it far more than rigid plastic which is liable to crack and only really good for a couple drops.Its ideal for me since i work outside and my phone gets dropped on the ground a lot, plonked on top of outdoor equipment and generally badly treated. (Oops) it wasnt hard to put together at all and it came with a little handstrap which is useful when im using it walking about.Downside is the lovely yellow paint does chip a bit but i suppose that's to be expected.

I have had this product on my phone for a while now. It has protected my phone from multiple drops and accidents. Good product. Easy to hold, was easy to put together, and buttons on the side work really well despite there being a case over the top. Works really well for me as I work in a environment prone to accidents. It is also a great security product because you can't take the sim card out without using the Allen key to take the case off. This stops theives disabling your phone if it is ever stolen, giving you enough time to track it. Great product. The only negative about this product is the paint. After a few months the paint has chipped slightly around the edges. However like I said. It has been dropped many a time, therefore I don't think it's fair to say it's a fault in the design. I highly recommend this product for the more rugged environment.

does what is required and protects phone from heavy damage , casse scratches up very quickly , lip should be slightly deeper for more screen protection , makes phone quite heavy , doubles the weight of my Galaxy S8 , the opening at the bottom of case is too deep and most charging cables fall out due to the thickness of the case, I have slightly modified mine to counter the problem , there are probably better products on the market but not for the price , overall does what it says on the tin

Ich hatte dieses Case mittlerweile seit 1 1/2 Jahren im härtesten beruflichen Einsatz. Habe nun für das Telefon ein neues bestellt, da das alte nach mehreren Stürzen aus teilweise 3m und höher arg deformiert war. Das Telefon (Galaxy S8) war nach dem Ausbau ohne die geringste Gebrauchsspur. Absolute Empfehlung! Tip: Gute Displayfolie (z.B. smart.engineered) zusätzlich verwenden.
