Using the VC470, how long will it run for?

I haven't used this one for any long periods with a new gas can yet, if memory serves, the old type (1970's) lasted for long enough for a foal to be born, cleaned and on its feet, - perhaps 3 hours or so. Always have a spare gas canister, two will see you through a long night and they are obtainable at lots of places

Has anyone used this type of lamp for night fishing and if so was it suitable to illuminate a largish area?

I keep this lamp for power cuts and have never used it outside, but I can tell you it gives sufficient light to completely fill a medium sized room. I hope this helps

Will the "plus" canisters work with the older Lumostar M270 HPZ lantern?

The model I have is the CV270 and the plus canisters work with this

Will this lantern fit a Coleman gas cannister ?...

Good Morning, the Coleman gas cannister will not fit. Only the Campingaz cannisters will fit. The diffrent models that fit it will be CV270+, CV300+ and CV470+. Many thanks. Johns Cross.
