Bought for the wife she loves it definitely value for money

Just got my singer sewing mechanic 9960 today the packing was not great but I accept that was the only way to send it there was a a big half hole in cardboard on side of the box.not you could see in the the box.Sewing mechanic is working well and wife is happy with it. Would I recommend to people yes. Over all I am happy and my wife is too. Very happy over all.

Good machine

Purchased it from the United States. Took a week to arrive here. I knew it was only 110 V, so purchased a voltage corrector from Amazon at the same time for £35 and it all works perfectly. Quite a bargain really knowing what the UK price Is.

This is a super machine and simple to use. I use mine pretty much weekly to sew Velcro onto nylon pads and much, much more. Stitch number 6 is nice and tough as is goes over each place 3 times creating a nicely locked up stitch that doesn't unravel easily. Good quality and seems pretty tough so far.

Bought this for my wife as it looked amazing and the price was much cheaper than from Singer. It arrived on 14/10/19 but straight away there was a problem. It had an american power cable and no UK plug. Spoke to Amazon several times on 15/10/19 who assured me that it just needed a US to UK converter plug. Ordered that on 15/10/19 and it arrived today and it does not work. Phoned Singer UK who stated they have had to deal with lots of disappointed customers who have purchased through Amazon. We are now having the hassle of having to arrange to return it to Amazon because they do not arrange the collection and sending it back to the USA can cost from £55 to £107. Very disappointed with Amazon

Lovely machine and easy to use

Purchased as a treat for myself as i have used my other machine for 30 years. I am so glad i made the purchase this sewing machine does so much more.
