Can you use this on wet hair?

Maybe in small strips of hair, but it’s not made for wet hair, so it could damage it. This gives my hair volume instead of flattening it like traditional straight irons do

Is this any different from the one I bought 10 years ago?

No. It really isn't. I had the old one but discontinued its use when I changed hairstyles. I bought the new one when I went back to the bob style. I don't find any difference between the old and the new.
