Great little phone - ideal for my elderly dad.
Bought for my dad because of large numbers and very loud ring. Fabulous for him. This is the second one he’s had .. the first one lasted for about 5 years but he broke it himself so nothing to do with the phone. The only difference to the old on is that the slide up lock isn’t automatic like the last one and he forgets to lock it so pocket dials me a lot more now!! Great phone for my dad who is not remotely interested in new smart phones. Easy to use and does what anyone who just needs a phone. Handy torch feature which he uses a lot too and radio.

For me ... a great little phone
I am 74 years old, I am slightly PC savvy-ish.. but have no idea about what so ever about mobile phones... so I bought this one... it is SO EASY to use and to text on. I did manage to set it up myself, slowly, for everything I want from the phone... (I haven't used the radio, bluetooth, and other functions, I just need it for phoning and texting, but I think many older people may need help setting it up, but once set up it is VERY easy to use and a strong little phone with great big numbers. I have had mine over a year now with NO problems at all. Negatives for me are 1: the ringtone.. I cannot find how to change it, or how to extend it to ring longer. No 2: when it is knocking around in bottom of my handbag, all sorts of lights seem to go on!!! This poor little phone gets lots and lots of rough treatment travelling all over the place with me, but NEVER lets me down, it holds its charge for ages too!! All in all for the amazingly low, price you couldn't find a better phone and would recommend it to any one, as long as less technical people have someone to help set it up, but I guess that applies to any mobile phone

Ideal for purpose.
Bought this for my 94 year old Mother-in-Law, ideal for the purpose. It reminds me of what it was like to own a mobile, pre smart phone days. Huge battery life, huge buttons and a big font. Easy to use and set up and ideal for those with somewhat limited dexterity in their hands and not perfect eyesight. The SOS button looks like it could be useful. Time will tell how well it lasts the job in hand. The cradle charger is a bonus too as having to align a micro usb cable to the phone for charging could have been an issue. For those more savvy users there are useful extras like a built-in torch and radio.

Not great at charging
Great for ease of use but charging unit doesn’t work well.

Highly recommended for those with arthritic hands or failing sight
Purchased for an elderly relative. The big button easy use for those with arthritis or failing sight problems really does make life easier. A great purchase. Highly recommended.

Great, basic phone for an old person to use.
Bought this for my 94 year old aunt who lives with us, and she can use it just fine. Its important to know this phone comes without any SIM card. I just went into my own phone providers shop and got a £10 pay as you go SIM and put it in. Has a really handy SOS button on the back that you can program numbers to, so if my Aunt needs me in an emergency she just presses this button and it rings me. There is also an option to have an alarm that rings at the same time. The only downside is that there is no option to change the ring tone (not a major issue, but when she had to go for a short stay in a care home the ringer on the phone was indistinguishable from all the other bells and whistles that were constantly going in the background, and she very often didn't hear the phone).

Cheap & nasty.
Bought for my elderly Mother. The battery stopped holding a charge after one week. The phone was incredibly difficult to set-up compared to the iPhone that I have, the internal microphone was poor. Accessing texts impossible for my Mother (who has owned a mobile phone previously). The experience could not have gone any worse. The phone looks like a calculator & is about the same weight. You get what you pay for I guess, but it wasn't even worth the small price I payed.

Great phone for elderly relatives.
Really simple to use, emergency button the back is brilliant for the elderly, and even my technophobe mother can use it. It calls the numbers out as you type, and the buttons are large and easy to see. Even has an easy to use torch too. Great value. And the charge lasts days.
