Great Phone Brill Price
Got this phone as I wanted to try something different from the main brand phones. I have had Chinese phones before with mixed results however after looking at the reviews for this phone I thought I would try it.The phone is great it really is the design is brill and has a good weight to the phone it's powerful and will play all the games at full settings which in part is down to the fact of Doogee fitting a 720p screen which would be one of only 3 negatives for the phone however the screen is still great with it being an AMOLED and to be honest you cannot really tell is any worst then a 1080p.Something I tend to see review miss out is the audio quality which does tend to be the down point to Chinese phones. However I am happy to say that the audio quality on this is just on par if not Abit louder to a Samsung S8 Plus. The audio DAC is not as good as a Samsung S8 Plus but again its not bad.The earpiece is quite though and is really the only major issue with the phone but I am use to is now.The reason I am referencing the Samsung S8 Plus is that is my work phone I have and comparing the two I can say the Doogee really does hold its own which is crazy considering the price difference.

Very nice for the price!
This is a budget phone. I don't like phone cases or screen protectors, so the look and feel of the naked phone are important. This is an all-glass black gloss finish that is gorgeous to hold. One of my favourites to date, and as you can imagine, an unprotected all-glass phone carries certain risks, but for me its worth it. Battery life is great, it charges super quick with the right charger. I'm also an Android fiddler, constantly adjusting the GUI themes and icon packs, so I rate it for customisation. Android 7 is a bit behind the times, but it still has a superquick fingerprint sensor for mobile banking and the like. If you like your selfies then you should know that the front camera is in the bottom right corner. Doesn't bother me but might upset some. The display is sharp and bright, but the power save mode is somewhat over-enthusiastic, a minor irritation. Overall for the price I am delighted. On paper it has lower specs than the Cubot I previously owned, but it feels much, much nicer. Oh, and you can make phone calls with it.

Pay a little more and get a better product.
First Doogee MIX I ordered had a dead AUX socket, returned it.Second one worked for a few months and then one day the screen decided to stop responding to touch.Got a Sony instead.

Not impressed
I Bought this after seeing it blow up all over the internet and wow am I disappointed. The phone is incredibly laggy and slow.Touchscreen is unresponsive and makes even the simplest of tasks a chore.Apps take an age to fully load. The case that comes with the phone started to peel in the first hour of use.USB cable supplied does not work.In the box I received a power brick not designed to work in my country, rendering it completely useless.Sim tray is loose.Fingerprint scanner does not work unless you wake the screen first with power button.Phone does not have the correct permissions for Android Pay to work, I assume because it does not meet the correct security standards. Both the front and rear camera are of such poor quality and do not focus properly so I do not use them.Screen has frozen multiple times and I've had to restart the phone.Every time I restart the phone or it runs out of battery the wallpaper changes and I have to change it back to my preferred wallpaper. Also when I restart the phone or it runs out of battery almost every app updates and the phone becomes even slower and I can't use it.This is a very, VERY budget smartphone and in no way does the keep up with current fully functional competitors. This has been a massive waste of money.

Didn’t last!
I bought the 6gb version. It looked nice and worked fine then just after a year dropped down dead. To be fair it wasn’t expensive and had loads of memory and storage but I’ve now bought an honor 9 lite which is better in every way.

Oh not, not another malware infested firmware?
Arrived on time, great price, great phone ..... but, but, but, butMalwarebytes is reporting a trojan malware in the 'doogee' app. Its a system app that cant be removed. Noo OTA firmare update available. I'm going to try a hardware reest. I'm going to try disabling everything about the suspect app. I'm going to try a Nove and Apex launchers. And I'm going to see if Malwarebytes (and Mcafee and other trusted branded security products) still report a problem. If they don't, then good and its 3* (a 5* phove with 2* off for all the faffing about). If not then 1* and a return. Why is it so hard to find a phone without malware 'baked in'? i'm getting tired of buying phones, finding malware, then returning.
