Well worth the money
Previous garden badminton sets we have had have been of very poor quality. Not so this one. The poles are made of decent grade powder coated steel and the net is well made. The whole set is very easy to put up with very clear instructions. The racquets are well made but quite heavy and the handles don't offer much protection for extended play if you have big hands - I was made to play for a good four hours this weekend by my 10 year old who now has a new favorite sport. We have already split the supplied shuttlecocks which are the one element that doesn't live up to the price paid. Still, I would say that it is well worth the money for the net and racquets alone, and the fun we have had as a family so far.

Good quality badminton set
The thing about reviews is that sellers want you to leave them within 5 minutes of getting their goods - well that really doesn't give us time to try them out! That said, having resisted the persistent requests for a review, we have now managed to use the set in anger, in Cornwall. It takes a few minutes to set up, but once done, this set is absolutely fantastic, good quality and worth 4 racquets, can play doubles. All in all, very good quality and, in my opinion, good value for money.

Bought this to get some exercise and it is a lot of fun. Nice quality for the price and a proper size net. It looks very professional set up on the lawn. The net didn't come with instructions but it's not rocket surgery and only takes 10 minutes to assemble. I think this set strikes a good balance between the cheap sets you buy to keep the kids entertained and the sets for serious players.

Good set, but could easily be a lot better
This is certainly better than many of the budget sets. However, it's unclear which way up the net should go, so if you put it upside down (which we did first time), the strain of the guy ropes will rip the net apart (which it did with ours). Also the lower guy ropes snap too easily, as they are much thinner than the main ropes. The final criticism is that the racquet handles are covered in shrink wrap plastic which isn't comfortable, so we took it off, then all the handle tape quickly unravelled. So you might need some decent handle tape and replacement guy ropes... but also RTFM!!!Despite the initial glitches, the net has been rigged in the garden for a few weeks and is going nowhere in a hurry. Great family game

Superb Quality!
I bought this for my 11 year daughter's birthday and it is really superb - great for adults and children. Very robust full size net and quality posts with guy ropes to further stabilise the net. Good quality badminton racquets and shuttlecocks included. Very quick and easy to erect and it certainly looks like it will stay in place, so no need to disassemble every time. Very nicely presented in a tasteful box. All in all we are really delighted with this set and it should last for years unlike a lot of flimsy sets that are on the market today.

Buy the Wilson or Dunlop kit
The net and poles are good - even though they sag more than they should, so one star. The racquets and shuttlecocks are of very poor quality. After just one match, the grips, which were feeble and cheap in the first place are falling apart. Their heads are flexing and the stringing is not tight enough. The shuttlecocks are already breaking up. Cheap and nasty. Not expected for the price

Very good quality net that looks attractive in our garden
Very good quality net that looks attractive in our garden. However the racquets are not that good ..on one the handle snapped and on the others the plastic grip material came apart and we had only used them for a few light games. However they were immediately replaced by Jaques of London. It would be good if the quality of racquets could be upgraded as £60 for a set is not that cheap.

Nice set but useless shuttlecocks
This set is advertised being of premium quality. It is - apart from the shuttlecocks which are a disgrace. Within one hour of gentle use all three had fallen apart
