Shock Doctor Braces Strapless Mouthguard (Pink, Adult)

This mouth guard has been on the market for years. I first used it about 10yrs ago when I had braces, and I loved it more than any other mouth guard! It fit so well and it’s much softer than standard mouth guards. Later on in life, I noticed I had bruxism at night. I wanted to wear a mouth guard at night over my retainer. I was hopeful this would work, but it is too big to fit appropriately over a retainer. It’s for braces only

I used this for lacrosse and the comfort is bearable the front fits tightly while the sides would be a bit uncomfortable it’s fairly easy to use and the durability is not that good mines ripped throughout the season and performance is fine it was a bit hard to close my mouth but after all this is a mouth guard and it will be uncomft so I would recommended this after a while you get used to it

I'm a championship grinder and have recently started over with braces...which of course made my custom mouthguard obsolete. I was hopeful that this would fit the bill and I could gain a little relief from the grinding at night that I'm apparently incapable of stopping.This mouthguard is huge. It wouldn't stay in while I was awake let alone while sleeping. It's so big there was a steady drool situation and I pitched it to the trash after an hour. I can't imagine how people are giving this good reviews.

I like this retainer for when I play lacrosse it is very protective.

Even though the description stated it's a mouth piece for braces, I was on the fence. My daughters mouth is very sensitive due to her braces so I wasn't sure what to expect but she's happy with it and has no issues while wearing it for flag football.

I got the mouthguard to wear while I sleep as with my braces I cannot use my old night guard. I got the smaller size and still it is huge to wear it comfortably. My upper lip cannot reach my lower lip so I only wear it for a few hours at night. The material is nice, though and it is very easy to clean. It doesn't hurt my gums or get stuck in my brackets so maybe for a bigger mouth and day wear it would be fine.

My daughter says this is comfortable and doesn’t push on her braces when she wears it.

My daughter has only just been fitted for a brace and doesn't do a lot of sport at school requiring a mouth guard but still needed to find some protective shield. The fit isn't perfect but is acceptable - may be difficult to do much communicating with team members on the pitch. She is 12 so went for the adult size. Before braces we have had difficulty getting a shield of the right size. Saves hassle of moulding in boiling water.

I ordered this for my daughter as she plays alot of sports and needs one particularly because of the brace . Item came daughter happy with colour but fit is So rubbish, package states no boiling or moulding required !!item now Sat in daughters kit bag due to Still awaiting a further email from suppliers about fitting !

This mouthguard is great if you have braces, I wasn't sure at first but I wanted to spar and tested my luck, and it is 100 percent worth it. The negatives are for one the color I didn't get to pick so it came in pink, and also whenever you need to spar or roll for bjj, it's pretty difficult to breathe through your mouth, and you can't talk with it, when I spared I always needed to take it out just to say "good spar". Overall Great product, I do recommend this if you have braces and want to spar in boxing, muay thai or mma.
