Is it quiet?

Gives off a slight buzz, but nothing that causes bother.  I was shocked someone commented that their neighbour could hear it, they must have exceptional hearing!
I bought mine in May 2018 and it’s still going strong to this day, July 2021.  Ive only ever bought a replacement air stone, I bought a larger one, which works great.
I’ve even cut through the wire while trimming the hedge (the solar panel sits on the top of the hedge), I wired it back together, works perfectly.   My fish appreciate it.  :-)

Question 2

how do you keep the pump dry since its oddly not waterproof? Any good tips, it obviously still needs the airflow to it aswell

I found an old tin with a good lid and modified it by drilling four 3mm dia. holes for drainage in the base and six more strategically pierced in thein sides for ventilation. One more larger hole for the air tube and the wire too the solar panel finished the job with a strip of electrical tape around the lid. This should be adequate but I recommend an annual inspection just to open up inspect and reseal to keep an eye on it. I suggest if you don't want the bother then get a costlier water submersible pump system.

Can this be left put in winter, ive got the pump in a waterproof box but unsure about frost?

I’ve got this little oxygenator and like you, have the punp in a box. No it can’t be left out. The cold and frost will harm the solar batteries in the panel. The pump is protected but not the solar batteries. I’m bringing mine in when it gets cold until spring.

Question 4

Does anyone know if you can put the solar panel inside a greenhouse and it still work? it would make it simpler for me if you can.

Hi - I've not tried with this pump but I do have a small solar fan that works fine through the greenhouse glass
