Excellent quality
Really pleased with this, easy to assemble, feels really sturdy and strong, not massive on top section once the hatch is open but overall good quality

Happy piggies
This is a perfect size for my 2 guinea pigs, I wouldn't go putting anymore than 2 in here though and the space is only acceptable because they have use of the ladder to take them to bottom floor. Had this of just been 1 story, it wouldn't be big enough for my 2 piggies (despite them only being small). The plastic tray insert is a fabulous feature as soiled bedding rots wood quite quickly, the plastic is easy to clean and I much prefer it to the bare wood. The bedroom space is plenty big enough, I have the dry food upstairs and the little bit at the top of the ladder is used for the litter (both my guinea pigs are litter trained, makes keeping on top of cleaning them a breeze) then all of their fresh food I put downstairs to encourage them to venture out as often as possible.I set this up extremely easily, by myself (with a 3 & 4 year old 'helping') and took me around 30-40 minutes. Instructions are well illustrated and parts all marked with what they are. Just needed a Philips screwdriver and jobs a good'un.For what it is, the price and considering I only needed 2 small guinea pigs to live in it I think it's a brilliant buy. I would recommend buying a sheet of wood for this hutch to sit on to lift it off the floor slightly therefore your pets can access bottom floor even when raining without having to swim through puddles.Overall a brilliant buy, a good quality hutch and one which I'd happily recommend to others

Guinea pig hutch
Product was easy to build and quite sturdy only complaint is that the top back board was split on arrival but I had to build it as I am getting the Guinea pigs tomorrow so no time to wait on another 1 arriving

Not bad for the price could be better.
This is my 3rd one of these hutches the 1st lasted 2 years, the 2nd 9 months. Not bad quality for the price. I've painted this one black with shed paint the stain is very orange when it comes also added additional felt to the top making it more waterproof that's why the second was replaced the roof totally fell apart.

Small but perfectly formed
This is a lovely little hitch which we have now had for several months and it has very little signs of wear and tear (apart from where the bunnies have chewed it).The top section has a plastic floor, which makes it relatively easy to clean out and means it will last a lot longer than a hutxh that is solely made of wood.It is a small hutch so not suitable for rabbits unless you also have a very large run. Ours is inside a much larger structure and is perfect for providing my two buns with some shelter and snuggle space.

Hutch
This hutch is perfect for a couple of guinea pigs..... NOT A SMALL RABBIT.Advert for this cage a bit misleading says guinea pig or bunny. Far too small for even a small rabbit. But have to it worth the money a solid well made hutch.

Awful awful awful hutch - my free range guinea pigs voted with their feet.
My poor guinea pigs have suffered a winter of misery due to this hutch. Freezing cold, icy and depressed. My guinea pigs are free range, and they can choose where to sleep. They have two hutches to choose from. This great new hutch or a completely broken down ancient hutch of the same design but smaller (bought for a tenner from ebay about a decade ago). Yes, the ancient hutch with holes in it won. Most of us, apart from the manufacturers, know that heat rises. The main problem is the poor construction leaves gaps between the lid and the top of the hutch. Therefore, the heat rises and escapes from the hutch. A problem in the UK where winter conditions reign far too long.I did try to improve matters... as first I didn't know what the problem was.a) Inside is a flap between upper and lower levels. I cut the inner door flap it in half and pinned half down to make a salubrious extra resting place.b) I pinned fleece or woolen tapestries to all the internal walls, which has always been a popular luxury addition.c) perspex windows pinned to the outside grills.d) cardboard inside the sleeping area to create a kind of ceiling, and this helped a bit.e) paper in a couple of the gaps. But it didn't work because some of the gaps are a bit too thin and I didn't want to risk stopping the lid close fully.f) hutch was winter insulated with bubblewrap, blankets and a cover on the outside.Another issue - not raised by my guinea pigs - is it's longevity. The plastic floor of the upper hutch is paper thin, and I expect it to last only a relatively short time. A crime considering the money.DO NOT buy this hutch unless you live in the tropics and/or don't care about chucking money away.
