both my old iPod shuffles (4th generation) not charging. i absolutely depend on them when im exercising as i cannot find anything as small with such great sound quality. i saw other reviews for this product and gave it a go. Both are now working. iv ordered a second as i can then keep both charged up.

Always need back up cables and this one is good value

Read the negative reviews before I sent it back and noticed one reviewer said it worked on his portable charger but not the wall socket. So I dug out the 13amp wall charging socket that came with one of my Apple devices and voila it worked! SO IF YOU BUY AND IT WONT CHARGE DONT RETURN IT STRAIGHT AWAY.

I bought this charger for my iPod. The original Apple charger was destroyed and I'd been looking for a charger for years now, instead of having to pay lots of money from the Apple store. Was really impressed as soon as I took it out of the package. Looks exactly like the original Apple charger and works perfectly. I've charged my iPod for the first time in 4 years and I am so glad I bought this! Amazing value for its price too! - though it did NOT LAST LONG AT ALL. Broke after a few uses. DO NOT RECOMMEND for long term uses.

I had tried other low-cost products (Apple's own equivalent product is nearly £20!) from other sources to get my girlfriend's iPod Shuffle v.4 back up and running after several years but they didn't work. Then I found this one from REALMAX® for under 2 pounds and free delivery. It arrived early and worked perfectly, My girlfriend now has access to music she hasn't heard for years. Thanks.

This product is outstanding bad in quality. It stopped charging my ipod within the first 3 weeks of use. What is more, they try to make you give a 5 star review by telling you they will send you another one of the same product for free - well it's been more than a month now and nothing yet - clearly some serious BS going on. The product worked well...for the time it lasted - DO NOT BUY! A cheap Chinese knock off from your local pound shop will at least work longer than this.

Does what it says on the tin. I had lost the charger for my shuffle (4th gen I think) and obviously wanted to replace it. Being stingy I didn't much fancy paying for the real deal and because this was so cheap I thought it was worth the 'risk'. Some have pointed out that it is short...but so is the original so I can't see the problem. The shuffle doesn't weight much so it doesn't matter if it dangles off the lead. Most importantly though, this lead charges just as well as the original so I am very pleased!
