This door lock is a major letdown. It can only be locked from one side, and there's no key to unlock it from the outside. If someone accidentally locks themselves in, like children, there's no way to unlock it without turning the handle from the inside. It's a safety hazard waiting to happen.To make matters worse, if the lock gets jammed or encounters a mechanical error, there's no emergency unlock feature. This means if you can't unlock it conventionally, you're stuck. The only option left is to break the lock or the door, rendering it useless.In my experience, this lock has proven to be unreliable and downright dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a more secure and user-friendly option. One star is generous for this product.
