Very sturdy bit of kit.I'm using this as a mount for a old phone, which is set up to record footage of a robin nest in my shed. I'm not on GoPro kind of money! I've got the stand attached to one of the support beams for the shed roof, and I've manipulated the arm so that the phone can be attached the way I need it to be. It's been up for three days and it's going strong. Withstanding the birds landing on the arm of it too.It was a bit fiddly to get set up as the beam I've attached it to is quite wide, but it's worth the security it's given me.

No sign of wear and tear, clamp is yet to drop anything, and very easy to adjust!

This is amazing value for money. It's super sturdy and fits my iPhone 8 plus perfectly!It was a little flimsy when adjusting the grip to the phone but you can play around with the wire to distribute the balance and keep things stable.

I'm keeping this one only because I need it now to record my videos for clients. If I weren't in such a rush I would send it back. As yo can see it came damaged. You get what you pay for. I'll get a more expensive one later on....for now I'll keep this. But common, you could have done a better factory check on these. It is also a little bit hard to flex.

This is a really useful purchase, especially since lockdown has me facetiming a lot and holding my phone can be awkward.Its very easy to attach the arm to different surfaces, it can be opened wide enough to fit on a door or any table comfortably. Easy to tighten and loosen.The bendy arm is very stiff, a bit tricky at first but you get used to it and it can be positioned in many different ways.Overall brilliant and sturdy.

A couple of months on, I'm downgrading this from a 2-star to a 1-star review. Tried to coil the 'flex' to introduce more support, but short of leaning it against a wall/monitor/something, it offers no support whatsoever.A regretful purchase..--Original review:This product is certainly not worth the ~£15 paid. I intended to use it to hold my phone for video calls, but it's been a disappointment.The 'flex' feels rigid enough, but the moment I put my phone in it (iPhone X, both with a lightweight case and without), it bows terribly. I've now got this clamped to my desk, with the 'flex' leaning against my monitor for support. Without the monitor, it wouldn't have enough support to stand on its own (unless you perhaps coiled it tightly?).Further, the clamp affixes to the flex in a ball-and-socket joint. This has no resistance, so my phone just flops downwards. There is a screw to 'tighten' this; it's already at its tightest setting. I've had to dust both the ball and socket with cornstarch to try introduce some friction, to keep it propped up.Before purchasing this item, I was using a mug to hold my phone up. Suspect I'll be going back to using a mug in the next few days.

Good range movement i loved this use it hold my Iphone 8 for a webcam i use for streaming, good for a whole range of things I'm finding. Sturdy to movement range is out this world the angles etc you can get. Great as a phone holder but equally as good as a holder for streaming and videoing etc. easy 5 out of 5 from me

Bought this for my wife to hold her phone as due to disablity she suffers from problems with her grip and hand strength.It's easy to position and set up, a little stiff in adusting the flexible arm but not beyond her means. It stays in the position it's set in as well. The ball joint (that connects the phone holder to the arm) has a handy cap that can be adjusted to allow movement or tighten up to stay put.Especially appreciated is the the size of the "nut" for loosening/adjusting the clamp. It' pretty much the length of a hand which makes it easy to get a grip and tighten for a secure grip.
