Great value kit. It does feel a little cheap and flimsy compared to some professional tools I have used in the past but these are more than adequate for home use. For the price, these tools were easy to use and made a solid and secure connection.

Almost perfect. Everything in the bundle is great apart from the rj45 ends; they are of poor quality and the connectors do not pierce the wires. The first patch cable I made failed. Fortunately I had leftover ends from a better quality supply to use and could quickly put together a working cable. The tool and cable tester work well.

Reading the reviews I didn't expect much from this product. However, I found it to exceed my expectations.1. The yellow wire jacket cutter tool is one of the best that I've used from my arsenal of cheap and cheerful items.2. The crimper is easy to use and crimped fine. Being a sausage fingered person I was worried about my ability to get this right... I got it first time and on every attempt thereafter.3. The tester worked well showing I got it right (50m worth of cable away)Overall I am pleased with this cheap and cheerful use rarely product. For a one off or couple of bits n pieces. I think it's good value for money.

I’ve been wanting one of these for years and with a bunch of cat 7 to install it was time to get the kit :)My only complaint would be that the plugs are not the pass through sort which makes things a little tricky for order and alignment but given I’d planned to buy them separately I really wasn’t too concerned :)

An indispensable product if you are planning to put plugs on ethernet cables and this product does the job well enough. The crimping tool is however rather poor at cutting cables, the blades tend to ride over the edge of the handle but the crimping action is spot-on and work just fine. Overall, I'd recommend this product.

So I've done 2 crimps so far, one worked and one didnt, through no fault of the tool, only mine. The tool is fiddly and it's a job that needs some patience but it will work, and the tool actually feels of very decent quality. The headers work and the little necks are decent enough, the testers off switch doesn't work so you have to remove the battery when it's not in use but that could just be my one unit but all in all very happy with the product especially for the price

I have been in the industry for over 20 years. Crimped and made HUNDREDS of cables but when wanting to make a simple cable for home, I bought this to get it done.1st off, the crimper is absolutely rubbish. It doesn't crimp properly. It didn't push the copper connections pieces into the wires at all. No matter how hard i pressed. I even tried putting just the tip of the cable in from the other side to get just a tight leverage and that didn't work either.As for the crimping of the plastic sheaf in the RJ-45 - that didn't work either, so if I had to pull the lan cable out by pulling on the actually cable (instead of the RJ45) it will just pull the whole cable out of the RJ45. Utterly useless.The cable tester is ok. does what it says on the box, but nothing special. IT doesn't come with a battery, so I had to quickly pop out to the shop to get a 9v square battery.The RJ45's and boots are pretty good and strong. can't fault them.The only good thing about this kit is the yellow punch down tool. It strips the wires well and i actually managed to manually punch in the RJ45 copper plates of the crimp using the punch down tool and got a good connection eventually on the test. Not sure how long that will last.

For the price, this kit is fantastic. The crimping tool feels first-rate to use and does exactly what is supposed to. The cable checker works seamlessly. The rubber protectors fit A-OK. BUT, the RJ45 terminals are so fiddly to use, I went through the entire pack after getting failed wire connections on the tester. (I have a short, pre-brought CAT5 cable that I used for testing the tester). I even checked each wire was in each slot with a magnifier but still got failures from the tester. (Each time I re-made a new terminal connection, a different wire had failed). I've now brought the ones where you put the wires into a small block first before slotting into the main RJ45 unit, so we'll see what happens there. Five stars for what you get for the price, but four stars because of those blooming supplied RJ45 terminals.

Buen producto. No hace falta gastaros pasta comprando otro mas caro. El medidor no sirve para nada ya que si el empalme lo haceis bien ya lo podeis ver haciendo un test de velocidad. És mas importante que compreis varias clavijas porque algunas os quedaran mal y tendreis que volver a gastar de nuevas. Mirando algun video por internet aprendereis facilmente a hacer las conexiones.

Ich bin kein professioneller Netzwerktechniker und brauch dieses Werkzeug eher selten. Für diese paar Male war es völlig in Ordnung und hat den Sinn erfüllt. Bei dem Preis kann man nicht meckern.

Set completo e funzionale; manca la custodia che in kit diversi esiste e anche con accessori in più, ma dipende dalle esigenze. Collegati rapidamente diversi cavi LAN creati da una matassa di 40 mt. che avevo; la crimpatrice è in metallo ed è completa : RJ11, RJ12, RJ45, taglio netto, spellacavo di precisione, cavo telefonico, ecc.Tester di collegamenti efficace e infallibile. Per 13 euro, fin troppo.....

Il y a juste un petit bémol, la notice est So British ! Avec un peu de patience, on arrive à se servir de ce kit bien pratique et économique afin de ''câbler'' la bonne longueur de fil. On réalise de bonnes économies en achetant le câble en bobine et les connecteurs séparément. Le boitier de contrôle est facile à utiliser, une fois le câble terminé, on place les deux fiches RJ45 dans les fiches femelle de l'appareil ( qui fonctionne avec une pile 9 volts non fournie ) et celui-ci entame un test sur l'ensemble de toutes les connections avec voyant vert quand tout est bien câblé et rouge je suppose quand il y a un soucis. Jusqu'à présent c'est vert pour moi. Je vous recommande ce produit !
