No Smart TV? Don't worry, this little box can turn your old TV into a Smart one.
I got fed-up having to connect the laptop to our non-Smart TV when we missed an episode of something we were watching and had forgotten to record it. This little box gave us full Smart TV functionality and as it runs Android all the screens are familiar so it's just like using a mobile phone with an enormous screen. As with many recent electronics the 'owners manual' is pretty minimal but it still only took twenty minutes from opening the box it came in to have it up and running. The most fiddly bit was selecting the best audio settings and as we also bought an Air Mouse and were programming this at the same time we were dealing with two lots of instructions. Now it's in daily use and we're very pleased with the quality and the functionality - if you can find and run Apps on your mobile phone you can use this - terrific value and works brilliantly. The remote control that comes with the box is fine but we would recommend buying an Air Mouse too as it makes it much easier to operate and you can replace existing remote controls and won't need the one that comes with the Egolggo box.

Cheap box but with a premium feel
I purchased this box simply to run a few apps and wasn't expecting much from it. What a surprise though! From the time you start it up, it has a premium feel to it. The display is looks and feels high end (not like some cheap Android tablets and boxes). Very smooth experience all round. Runs every app perfectly. If you're intending to use the browser or tinker with it often, you definitely need a keyboard and mouse combo! I got this on a lightning deal for £34 but its easily worth the full price of £42(ish).

Company went above and beyond to put fault right
Edit: On seeing my review EgoIggo contacted me and apologised for the level of service I had received, they have since completely solved the issue and gone above and beyond what I was expecting.Wi-Fi was only picking up 2.5 Mbps on a 100Mbps connection. Contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and received no help or answer at all. When these things work they are great and this seems well built for the money is a shame their customer services are non existant and that the wi-fi chip they use is shoddy.

Nothing spectacular
Nothing to distinguish it from a hundred similar Android boxes out there, the remote is rubbish, better to get a mini keyboard to use with it.Fairly fast and with a nice interface, plenty of onboard storage with the option to extend. I find it tends to freeze and need a reboot on a regular basis, a bit of an annoyance but I can live with it. Picture quality is pretty good as is sound but unit is probably overpriced.

So simple.
Next day delivery. Simply connect via supplied hdmi cable and hey presto it’s up and running. You’ll need AAA batteries for the remote which is fairly standard. Easy to add your favourite apps. Plenty of videos on YouTube re how to add builds etc for those not technically minded. This is our first dabble with Android boxes - connected and working within couple of mins and whole set up complete in less than half hour.

Good streaming box
Bought the box initially to use it as a backup for the Roku because of the Android os. Navigation is a bit tricky sometimes to use in apps like Pluto TV, but probably because the box is not a actual touch device.Performance and connectivity wise I can't complain about anything, for streaming it works perfectly.Bad side, box is rooted, had unroot it there is a free APK for that, probably we could get a is update and option to configure the quick menu.

very good box
ive been using this box for over a year and has been pretty good. only problem was the ethernet completely failed. box no longer recognises when ethernet cable is plugged in so i have been forced to use wifi. oddly enough the box works much better on wifi.
