Tried everything on the market and whilst I did get a bit of wax out and relief, my left ear hearing wasn't brilliant. Purchased this Otex, followed the instructions and within 2 days I completely cleared the left ear channel, couldn't believe what came out, this stuff is a godsend and I can hear in stereo for the first time in a long time..

This product did work and straight after putting it in you can hear the popping of your ear being cleared. Like I said in the title, I wish you could tell how many drops you're using. It says on the packaging to use 5 but when you squeeze the bottle unlike a pipette where you can count the drops as you squeeze them, you are just guessing. For me the product also doesn't seem to come out in drops at all and is like a small stream.

For the first time in my life at 40 I suddenly felt like one of my ears was getting blocked, and careful investigation found some old, dark brown, sticky wax. It felt blocked deeper inside though and itchy and was anoying me. I don't think it was the worst blockage, but it seemed to be getting worse so I bought this stuff to try and fix it. I used the drops for three days, then decided I might as well try the water bulb with some lukewarm water. At first nothing happened, but I tried squirting the water a bit faster and then it worked that time. A fair bit more junk than I expected came out. It was all dark old wax, so it was I assume the cause of the problem and I feel fine now. Hopefully it was just a random thing and won't happen again, but if I need to I'll use this again.

Once over I could get this dealt with by my local GP’s surgery, but sadly no more. I’ve been fighting a build up for a while, becoming so bad my hearing has been affected, and made a private appointment for a removal, but was advised to use drops for a least 5 days before. The process was horrible, I did one ear and it literally blocked completely after the first few drops went in. But I persevered and managed to keep it up for 3 days, morning and night (lots of deep breathing involved!) I woke up this morning, the fourth day, with a completely unblocked ear and perfect hearing. I used the bulb to rinse out the ear, and it cleared the loosened wax. I’ll still keep my appointment, I’m interested to see if any left in there. This is a really good product, I’m delighted to have given it a go, and for it to have worked so fast.
