Professional Carpet Shampoo 5 Litres - Suitable for all Machines

I've been using Vax Pet Odour for some years in my machine, the last couple of bottles haven't cleaned as effectively as it used to, not sure if they've changed the formulae or not. I ran out as halfway through cleaning the hall carpet, so ordered this shampoo to give it a try. Delivery was excellent with the item arriving with in 36 hours, take note other suppliers, I also ordered another item from a different supplier, also promising next day delivery, I'm still waiting 5 days later. First use of the shampoo proved that the previous shampoo was doing an inferior job to this one, I finished the hallway and when it was dry there was a marked difference between the two halfs, and when I vacuumed as recommended, the difference was even more pronounced. I went over the the half I did with the vax shampoo and the new shampoo shamed it by pulling out even more dirt from the carpet, I then did an old urine stain left behind after a puppy accident, the vax shampoo left a feint stain, even though I did it was it was till fresh, this shampoo has removed that stain completely. So all in all, good value and does the job with less effort, no going over and over to thoroughly clean the carpet.

I bought this to use in a Bissell carpet cleaner. The results... fantastic. My daughter and her fiancé have carpets already in their new home. However the previous occupant had obviously just walked around in their outdoor shoes. I used this in the machine at three quarters fluid to one quarter warm water in the shampoo holder. Went over the really dirty areas with two cleans and a rinse and the rest with one wash and a rinse and I am really impressed with the results the carpets are clean and smell fresh. My daughter is delighted as the money saved in replacing the carpets means she can have a new kitchen. I had used the recommended cleaner on one of the bedrooms but it was no where near as good as this. I will be buying more for the next lot of cleaning I have for an ex rental property carpets.

As an elderly user and not a professional carpet cleaner I found the container difficult to open both because the diagram instructions were not clear and I have little strength in my fingers. The instructions (in small print on the container itself) were very difficult to read and to interpret. Having said that, once I had accessed the product and made decisions as to how it should be diluted, It did a pretty good job of extracting a patch of printer ink from a beige wool-blend carpet. Users should ensure good air flow if working with the product indoors and should wear appropriate PPE (i.e. rubber gloves and effective mask). I consider the product effective and value for money.

OMG I wish I'd found this before wasting money and time using the big brands - Bissell, Rug Doctor, Vax liquids etc. I'm using it in a Bissell ProHeat Revolution and this stuff has brought the carpets up so clean they look new. It's even got dried in gloss paint and emulsion stains off where it soaked through the dust sheets. I actually can't believe it! It doesn't really smell of anything, just leaves the carpet brilliantly clean. Can't recommend this highly enough!!!!

I own a Vax Carpet Washer Dual V 124 Series & have been using the manufacturers own product with excellent results. I was slightly apprehensive about using another product, especially one of which I had no previous knowledge or experience. However, due to the cost of the maufacturer's recommended product, I decided to take a chance with Professional Carpet Shampoo. We have good quality carpets throughout the house, so I used it first on a small section of spare carpet from a recent fitting. I need not have worried, the results were superb. We have now cleaned several carpets, all of which are clean and bright with no evidence of fading or discolouring. We didn't have any particularly difficult stains to remove, but a couple of the carpets actually seemed brighter than before. I have no hesitation in recommending the product & have in fact just ordered another 5 litres. The only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is that the cap on the 5 litre bottle is set at an awkward angle for some reason, and I needed to use a plastic filter to fill my machine's solution bottle. Hardly worth mentioning considering the quality of the cleaning.

Better than Vax solution, if I'm allowed to say that. I get through quite a lot of carpet solution because I live on a farm and this stuff gets anything out. Cow s---, sheep s---, horse s---, you name it, even a mystery stain that's a couple of years old and I was resigned to having to live with. Plus pet accidents, tomcat deliberately NOT accidents, vole and rabbit guts when the aforementioned cat has disemboweled me a present, blood, sick, the list goes on. I could probably spend a night describing the horrors that get thrown at my poor carpets but instead, just take it from me and buy this because on a working farm it's excellent and on that basis it'll work for everybody else, too. It's like having new carpets again, this week. They're all fluffy and nice underfoot. But, as I said, this is a farm so... they're clean for now.

Arrived promptly, not quite as strong as I would have liked as it states professional. I had to use more Tha the instructions, but it did a pretty good job in the end.
