On assembly never felt sturdy, after 10 months of little use as chain came off and pedals clicked constantly, sent back as not great for 4 year old, amazon brill and still replaced with another bike of my choice,

This bike is a great price. Bought for a four year old of average height, i went for the 12" model and size wise is perfect. This bike is surprisingly heavy for its size which i thought maybe an issue for small children, but he has got on with it very well. Bike needs assembly and is well packed in a strong cardboard box. Each piece of the frame and pedals etc are wrapped and taped in cardboard, it takes about an hour to assemble half that time to unwrap all the protective cardboard! But this does keep it in good condition during shipping. The only issue i had was with stabilisers, even on lowest setting they were still a bit high so the back wheel was spinning as it was not quite touching the ground fully which leads to frustrated child pulling wheelspins! Managed to sort it with two people, one to hold the stabiser in place and one to do up wheel nut. Would have been five stars if it didnt have stabiler issue.

The Smooth plastic wheels, we’re disappointing, not much grip.

The parts of the bike that were assembled weren’t assembled correctly and made the bike make a knocking noise, and bolts were stripped, plastic cheap tyres too - would not recommend

How stupid is that. Spanner supplied does not fit. You get what you pay for. A cheap price so a somewhat poorly built bike. Especially the wheels that are made of plastic and slightly buckled. Also not the best brakes because the pads slip on the plastic rims. Not safe in wet conditions. No angle adjustment for the saddle which points slighly downwards at the front. It’s a small sized bike so your child will quickly outgrow it, assuming it lasts long enough for that to happen. You will probably get only a years use out of it before it’s worn out or busted. Stabalizers seem ok and are easily adjustable, using your own spanners. A cheap introduction to cycling for a young child using it under grown-up supervision. Not a bike for on road use. And, last comment, the padding for the handlebar is cosmetic only. You would get better protection by wrapping toilet paper round the bars.

Great first bike for my son.The tools too assemble the bike were not the right fit for the bolts so you need your own tools.But great bike other than that. My son loves it you get what your paid for I suppose! But I love it, And the sturdiness is great.

Boy loved it for his birthday.

I was looking for Just a cheep first bike, but it is really well made! This is a great buy, sturdy enough to take a lot of tough action, perfect for my 3 year old.It came well packed with minimal assembly needed, easy to follow instructions and tools too.A perfect step on from a balance bike, it's a proper stunt bike was one comment form my boy so you can imagine what it has already been through! It is still as good as out of the box 2weeks and a lot of (miss)use on. With fully adjustable seat and handle bars this will last a good while!
