I chose this as I was used to using a Sat Nav in Landscape Mode and I've previously experiences suction cups losing their section (e.g. in hot weather etc). Overall this is very good - and stays in position. The only slight criticism is that with this latest model you only appear to have one size of 'uprights' that your device fits into. My phone is in a case - and I would say they are still slightly oversized - and if you go around a few corners quire hard it does move gradually - so you find yourself having to re-adjust it (I would hasten to add there's NO concern about it 'flying off') - but I'd imagine that if I didn't have it in a case this might be slightly worse. But for me - this works fine

This works just fine and better than most others, I think that this item has been upgraded 3 times already and it is close to perfect now, I have dropped 1 star because the right hand phone holder arm sometimes comes loose and slides out of the unit but this only happens when the unit is empty with no weight to keep everything in place, with the phone in place there have been no problems, overall very close to perfect.

I thought this would look quite smart on my dash, but it very soon became dusty and scrappy and after trying to clean it, it wouldn't stick quite so well. After a few days of pulling my phone out, it just fell to the floor.The holders are a bit soft, so I kept my phone (iPhone 8) in landscape position as I didn't feel they were sturdy enough to hold it upright.On the whole it's ok, but I now keep it on my desk at work (hence the 3 stars) and have purchased a 'standard' phone holder for my car.

I wish i had thought of these before. I have bought 2 and stuck them into our two cars and they do a great job. Having a wider the phone means it can be a bit top heavy when layed on it's side and if i accelerate quickly the phone tips forward and can fall. not sure how to improve this though as the bigger the lugs holding the phone, the more screen they would block. all in all, happy.

Bought this for road trip from London to south of France and it's been great. I had bought one with a suction cap but it didn't want to stay attached so was looking for an alternative. I actually haven't taken the pads off the bottom and just sat it on the dash. It can move around a little but certainly hasn't flown around at all. My dash isn't flat and it still sits quite well.

No matter how bad I drive it doesnt drop the phone! The silicon feet grab really well to the dashboard (which is curved, has plastic and some metal mesh underneath). Big phone with bulky case, hands down really good!!Only negative it works just in landscape mode but for navigation its ok. Recommended!Ps. the gaps where the phone stands are bigger than the other ones on Amazon, so can easily put a phone thats thicker or has thick case on it.

I am using this item regularly to hold my mobile phone while I use it as a satnav.I do like it and I suppose it deserves more than 3 stars. The posts that hold my mobileare made from very floppy rubber, as is the mat they sit in. Because of this floppiness theposts kept pulling out. I solved this problem by forcing small washers over the lugs in the postsand then the lugs into position in the mat.The posts are now held firm and the mat sticks to the dashboard.I can't complain really, it is doing what it is suppoed to do.

It's good , I like it , unobtrusive on the dash and easy to put your phone in and to remove it - big bonus - no fiddling around and no phone holders dropping from the windshield ! It's not perfect , if you are driving erratically or stop suddenly your phone can go flying , but overall a good product
