Brilliant for the price, way bigger than expected and did the job.

Used these bags as outer protective layer for hessian sandbags as they disintegrate in the rain, Used them as weights to tie down the cover on our garden table and chairs to stop the cover blowing away. Seem to do the job well so far this winter.

Top stuff
Purchased to weight down a poly tunnel on an allotment and if they degrade within 12 months as previously suggested, it doesn't matter as they sand will be in place. But hey ho, what do you expect for less than a fiver and free postage? Who keeps sandbags forever? They are a one off disposable item. Very good value.Just bought a second pack to use as a temporary retaining wall while a breeze block wall is built. Can't fault the things for a fiver, first class. A sand bag is for one off use, not for life, it's not a puppy. FFS man up, 12 bags for a fiver, cheaper than bin bags to put yer crap in.

Look OK. should do the job
Seem quite strong. Bought "just in case" so not in use yet and truthfully hope I never do have to use them. If and when required I will use them to protect my home from heavy rainfall.
User
OK to begin with
Were good to begin with, but now - about 18 months later - they have all disintegrated and sand leaking from them

great nice packaged bags
I got those as garage takes water under the door. i filled these up and they are a nice sausage shape that has nice length so you dont need many to go in line. I chose plastic as i know hessian rots these dont. The string from as seen by black tags is double looped so always attached to bag so you cant loose them a nice touch, and also the string acts as a measuring line so you dont over fill the bag.I tested the door with the hosepipe from out side and the bulk of the water stayed out. There was some slight seepage as to be expected under the plastic but a double wall of these bags would i rekon would stop that. Overall great bags and exceeded my expectations.
