L'Oréal Colorista Paint Beige Blonde Permanent Hair Dye

I couldn’t be more impressed with this actually. My hair was an absolute mess. It was more or less platinum and then a mobile hairdresser did my roots so badly they were yellow even after she put a toner on. Then on top of that I had my dark blonde/ brown roots coming through. I wasn’t expecting much from this product but it lifted my dark roots just enough, and they are completed blended through from root to tip so there are no visible lines and it has a nice ash/beige colour getting slightly lighter to the ends. A really nice shade and conditioner has helped with my dry ends. This will be my go to from now on.

After trying many hair colour products, I found L’Oreal Colorista to be the best product that suits my hair type. Being an asian and suffering from premature graying of my hair, I was compelled to colouring my hair from a young age. The best hair colour product I found was by Vidal Sassoon but unfortunately they have now stopped producing them. I have used many hair colouring products over the years and none of them lasted long as L’Oreal Colorista. Although the packaging directs you to use all the contents therein, as I have short hair I can use it twice (bonus win!). I’m very happy with this product and will be buying L’Oreal Colorista again.

I bought the violet dye and was surprised by how gorgeous and vibrant the colour was. My hair was originally dark brown and Middle back length. I managed to achieve the colour I was after without bleach and using only 2.5 boxes. The downside whilst applying is that the smell is awful. I also used my own brush as the one they supply isn’t great.However, I wouldn’t use again as the colour transfer is terrible! Ruined bedclothes, pillow cases, towels and clothes 6 weeks after applying!I even went back and checked the product to see if I had mistakenly bought a semi permanent, but it is indeed permanent.Such a shame as the colour was just beautiful!

Dyed my hair with Colorista Violet last night and the colour pay off is fantastic. My hair had been bleached several tones lighter and coloured red some months before. The result on my hair is a lovely dark violet in the shade and in bright light a nice violet with pinkish tones. Very happy with result.Had to buy two boxes as I have very thick hair. Solution is very messy so that is its only downside so far. Conditioner that is included has left my hair wonderfully soft.All that's left is to wait and see how the result goes after the first shampoo.

Love this. The colour is so vibrant. After 5/6 washes it hasn't faded. Simple to use, and smells nice which is a bonus. I went for a full head as I wanted to change my colour completely, I have collar bone length hair and the bottle managed to cover it all generously. The instructions are easy to follow so if you were wanting to do balayage or highlights you'll be able to do so with no issues. Will be using again when I decide I need a new colour!

Not working

The beige blonde works for me everytime!I go from black to blonde alot so I always know to get this when my hair reaches the pale peach.. Yellow stage as it covers it perfectly and gives me a lovely natural blonde. It's my go to for a perfect blonde!

More red than purple. Try again on touch up. Salon had to fix it to the violet on the box.

I got it to treat my roots cause I didn't want to keep using permanent hairdye. I've used colorista washout turquoise and denim before. Both gave great long lasting results, especially denim which also gives color to brown hair. My gray hairs normally take on color better than the rest. However, this time my roots (gray and light brown hairs alike) apparently didn't take on any color. I assume the result would be different on bleached hair. Other than that, I love the product cause it doesn't smell horendous and you don't need to use all of it in one go.
