Logitech Z120 Compact PC Stereo Speakers, 3.5mm Audio Input, USB Powered, Integrated Controls, Cable Management Solution, Computer/Smartphone/Tablet/Music Player - White

Bought these speakers a few months ago now. Trialed them as desktop speakers for gaming, movie streaming and listening to music. They are seriously good. They are very small speakers which punch well above their weight. Even if you max them out, playing the heaviest music possible, these won't shudder or distort. A very good deal for the price, you won't find much better performing and nicer looking speakers for £11. Also the cable tidying setup around the back is very useful and nicely put together. The casing too feels nice, thick and durable; probably a high quality High Impact Polystyrene Also I have taken them apart (I am using the speaker component for a project); of course once you remove the case the sound is allowed to spread out more and sounds tinny, so the case does do a lot for the sound itself, which is a testament to Logitech's design. The speaker cone is only 52mm diameter, on a square mounted bracket 65mm wide. They are very tall though, and have a whopping great magnet on the back of the speaker, so there is a lot of bulk for transmission of sound. For those not wishing to hack the speaker to pieces though, which I gather is most of you, they are a very neat little set of speakers which will do you very well for the money. In short... GET THEM!

I was looking for second hand PC speakers but when I saw the reviews and price of these, I thought I'd go for new instead. I bought these for a second PC we have and they're great! I like my music and like to think I can tell poor quality audio when I hear it and, for the price, these deliver in spades. Bass is quite light, as you'd expect for USB-powered speakers without a subwoofer, but not missing altogether. The most impressive thing about these is the clarity of the midrange and high frequency - dialogue is very clear. They're not loud - you wouldn't use them to get a party pumping. I bought them primarily for use with Skype and they're perfect for this. They are powered through the USB port on the PC - so you'll need a spare one of these - and then they plug in to any standard 3.5mm jack. You could use these as "travel speakers" if you had a USB port handy. I'm listening to them right now powered from a portable external battery with a USB port and plugged into my HTC Desire S. They're very rugged too. The white plastic is very solid - I'd be quite happy throwing them in a bag. They don't come with covers for the drivers but this isn't too big of a problem. My 5-year old daughter has already stuck her thumb into them without any negative impact on the sound. Each speaker rests on a circular foam base. The maximum length of the cable between the two speakers is about 70cm and the length of the cables (both USB and audio) coming from the right speaker is about 110cm. All in all, a very good buy unless you want something for a bass-heavy house party!

Bought them expecting something louder than laptop speakers but not capable of good music/video sound output. i was wrong. granted, they're not as good as speakers you'll pay £60 for, but for anyone wanting louder volume and speakers that can be taken around easily with your laptop, and easily put away, these are a great buy. I'm a uni student, and these do the job of filling a room in halls (and half the floor) with music, as well as any living room for pre-drinks/house parties. at a high volume, it's still very audible from 15 feet away, and within 10 feet it's loud enough to make your average volume conversation a bit difficult. The sound from these carries, which is great, makes it feel good quality, and not tinny. The bass, vocals, drums and instrumental are all clear,as is dubstep, classical and other genres. Although 100% volume on the speakers,laptop and youtube video/song in itunes/ tv programme will result in a slight decline in quality, it's common with most speakers under £100.Another good thing, some speakers with bass heavy songs give out a thumping sound, these don't, the balance is good. With slightly better technology these could be on a par with Bose, and that's not an exaggeration. The only buzzing sound i've heard is the facebook notification noise, but this is high pitched. I've had them for over 8 months and no problems at all, and friends have said how good these are, and that's before I told them the great price!!! highly recommended

Bought these to supplement sound on the kids pc, which was weak and tinny. Quite light weight, plastic, but nicely made/finished. Definite improvement on the previous sound quality. Clear detailed sound, full, good bass. Remarkable for the size and price. Absolutely recommended as a cheap but effective upgrade on any home pc. I also bought a pair of Satechi Dual Sonic Speakers for my own pc at the same time, which Are slightly more money (£18), a better quality finish, but practically the same regarding sound quality. Very impressed with the fullness and volume of sound achieved from such small and cheap speakers. Each one is about the size of a coffee mug, one has an on/off/volume knob on the front. Light weight, modern, quite sleek looking. Take up little room on a desk. Two speakers are atteched together by a lead of approximately 60cms, and a further two leads to connect to the pc, leading from one speaker. One USB and one input jack for the sound/headphone input. For the price, I can't imagine you could buy anything better. Even spending 2 or 3 times this price, I'm not sure you would get a better sound, perhaps just a bigger speaker. It is surprisingly full and definitely full enough to play music, watch tv, dance about the kitchen to Frozen, drown out next doors barking dog.... Recommended

Wir haben uns die PC-Lautsprecher gekauft, um sie an ein Acer S7 Ultrabook anzuschließen und damit eine höhere Lautstärke, ein größeres Volumen und mehr Klarheit des Gesamten Sounds zu erreichen, die die integrierten Lautsprecher des Ultrabooks nicht schaffen (obwohl diese für ein kleines Ultrabook recht gut sind). Außerdem wollten wir Lautsprecher, die man auch Unterwegs z.B auf Reisen, im Garten oder auf dem Balkon oder einfach nur beim Treffen mit Freunden im Park...leicht, schnell und ohne viel Kabelsalat an das Ultrabook anschließen kann, ohne an eine separate Stromquelle gebunden zu sein. Ein weiterer Punkt war, das wir Lautsprecher wollten, die nicht zu Groß, einfach im Rucksack zu transportieren sind und einigermaßen gut aussehen und trotzdem einen sauberen und aufgeräumten Klang haben und nicht nur rauschen und rumkratzen. Also alle unsere Kriterien haben uns zu den Logitech Z120 geführt. Nun zum Test (an einem Acer S7 Ultrabook in Bereichen: Filme, Videos, Musik und allgemeine Geräusche beim benutzen des PC's so entstehen): Die Lautsprecher kommen in einem von der Größe ausreichendem Karton daher damit man diese auch gut transportieren kann und trotzdem sicher verpackt sind. Das Anschließen ist kinderleicht und geht ohne großes Kabelwirrwarr von statten - 3,5mm Klinke zur Audioübertragung, dann USB Anschluss zur Stromversorgung rein und los geht's. Den Drehregler über die Ein-Ausschwelle drehen und der Sound läuft. Der Drehregler kann Stufenlos bewegt werden. Im Vorfeld sollte man erwähnen, dass man nicht zu viel erwarten darf, da es immerhin kleine Lautsprecher mit einer USB Stromversorgung sind. Und für den Mobilen Einsatz und zur kleinen Erweiterung des schlechten Laptop Klangs gemacht worden sind und nicht um damit einen Raum mit Musik zu füllen oder größere Klangwunder damit zu vollbringen. Der erste Eindruck hat uns aber fast aus den Socken gehauen...Man glaubt es kaum, aber aus diesen kleinen knapp 10 € Lautsprechern kommt dieser Sound. Die Lautstärke ist mehr als vollkommen ausreichend... Wir haben sogar weniger erwartet. Die Qualität des Klangs ist sauberer als wir vermuteten und auch die Höhen, Mitten und Tiefen sind sehr gut ausgeglichen. Die Höhen sind nicht zu übersteuert oder hören sich kratzig an. Die Mitten sind klar und sauber. Der Tiefen entfallen zwar fast, sind aber für diese Größe ausreichend präsent und sind ja auch nicht Ziel und Aufgabe dieser Lautsprecher. Den Klang haben wir mit der Dolby Software die auf dem Acer S7 Ultrabook installiert ist, ein bisschen verfeinert und den Lautsprechern mit dem EQ angepasst. Sie sind also nicht nur für das Anschauen von Videos und Filmen z.B. im Hotel ohne TV oder mit Freunden draußen im Freien, sondern auch für das hören von Musik in sehr guter Qualität und Lautstärke zum Größenverhältnis geeignet. Außerdem sehen sie neben dem weißen Ultrabook echt super aus. Dazu sind sie robust und stabil, ohne dazu allzu schwer zu sein. Diese 2.0 Lautsprecher haben das beste Preis-Leistung Verhältnis das wir bis jetzt gesehen haben. Kleine aber Großartige Arbeit von Logitech!!!

Ero fortemente indeciso se comprare queste casse o quelle proposte da Amazon (AmazonBasics). Bene ho visto qualche video e ho optato per queste perchè mi pareva avessero un suono più nitido. Bene avevo ragione! Ho fatto bene, sono veramente ben fatte e curate nell'estetica, ma soprattutto suonano veramente forte per essere delle semplici casse usb! Certo non vi aspettate la qualità di un 2.1, però se le paragonate alle classiche casse da ufficio che si usavano tempo fa il paragone non regge, veramente eccezionali. Le ho dovute comprare in seguito all'acquisto di un monitor senza casse integrate, ma a conti fatti forse è stato meglio così. Alimentate esclusivamente via USB e poi il jack va collegato all'uscita cuffie del pc (fisso o portatile, non fa differenza). Vi suggerisco un altro simpatico uso. Se avete un powerbank o un caricatore usb (come quello del cellulare) potrete portarle con voi in bagno per ascoltare musica (il jack va nell'uscita cuffie del cellulare) mentre vi fate una doccia o al parco mentre vi allenate. Straordinarie, consigliatissime
