Manic Panic Amplified Hair Bleach Flash Lightning Kit (40 Volume)

If I could give this bleach no stars, I would.Just used it and had a SEVERE allergic reaction to it once the cap went on. It was absolutely fine until the plastic cap got put on my head, then I went extremely red all over (it's still spreading slowly as I type this, even with the bleach thoroughly washed off my hair, that didn't even get bleached properly)Never had a reaction like this before, I'm absolutely horrified. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

This product does exactly what it says it will do and is the same strength of bleach hairdressers use for highlights/foils. There was a generous amount of powder and activator included: more than enough to cope with roots on long hair. Great value for money and arrived earlier than expected. The only observation I have is that the mixing tray is a bit small but you can use a yoghurt pot instead.

Standard bleach. Turns hair yellow before colouring. Hair felt like straw after bleaching - like horse hair! (pretty standard). It was actually a pretty cheap colour I put on over this bleach that fixed my hair. I've bleached before, but this done the worst damage! Wouldn't use again due to damage, but all bleach damages so it's up to the individual.

I bought this for my hairdresser to use on my hair because of it being both vegan and cruelty free. It worked fine so I am pleased with it. As with all bleach of this strength, it does dry the hair, but that is to be expected.

Coverage could be better - more than one pack needed for shoulder length hair or longer

I use this bleach every 6 months of so to do my roots, as well as my friends, before using Manic Panic Amplified Vampire Red. My hair is extremely impervious to bleach (my hairdresser used to have panic attacks over how long it would take for the bleach to work in the salon) but I find this bleach does a fantastic job and doesn't wreck my hair. It's very easy to use and comes with a mixing tray gloves and an applicator brush.
