Blackspur - Brass Long Shackle Padlock - 4cm

For a cheap economical padlock it's great. Some of the reviews on here say it's not very strong, or no good for outside security, but its just a cheap padlock! You are never going to get an industrial strength lock for £2.00, so its completely unfair to mark it down for that. If you need a cheap lock for keeping prying eyes away indoors, then this is ideal

cheap and cheerful, but does the job

Very small key for the lock and it's quite sharp edged, slightly cheap feel to it. But it is cheap.

Its a padlock, it works and the spare key is pretty handy. The long hasp is useful for slightly more inaccessible lock placement.Not too much more to say - if you need a lock, this is a lock.

Nice padlock which arrived in three days. I need safe storage for my dancing groups kit at our local hall so purchased a storage box with two locking points in the rim so ordered two of these padlocks BUT only ONE was inside the package. Immediately I contacted the seller and heard by the end of the day that they will dispatch the other one tomorrow. I hope it comes as quickly as the first one as I need it early next week. The lock does have a long shackle - it measures 6cm from the top of the locking base to the inside of the loop. They will suit my purpose fine as the storage box will be kept indoors so no fear of weather corrosion.

This did the job for me, and whilst the materials didn't feel like great quality, it was certainly good enough in my opinion. Overall I recommend.

Tiny to small to use , however after checking the description it's exactly as stated so I can't complain.

The lock is very good . It's strong and sturdy.
