A very good streaming unit.
This radio impressed me straight out of the box. It is good looking and solidly built. Connecting to my LAN was simple and adding stations to "my favourites" was equally as straightforward. From the off the sound quality was good and now, after three weeks of use, it has settled down to be excellent. I know that it is not quite hi-fi quality but, as a bedside radio, it will give years of pleasure. DAB and CD also work very well but will always be used minimally. Money well spent.

Beautiful Unit - Highly recommended
I received my radio today and found it very easy to set up. The menus were intuitive and I was able to set everything up without consulting the manual. (I do read manuals and have read it all subsequently to make sure I didn't miss anything). The FM is very clear as is the Internet Radio. I successfully linked my MacBook Pro to the Bluetooth function and played iTunes. In all modes the sound was great. (We don't have DAB in Canada.) I will probably never use the CD player as CDs are essentially obsolete - and fully obsolete in my life. The unit is beautiful to look at and enhances any room - in my case on a sideboard in my kitchen. The remote is intuitive as are the controls on the radio. My only complaint is that there was a "marketing" sticker on the top of the radio - really only useful for display models in stores. I did not want it on my radio in my kitchen. It was very difficult to get off. Most electronics have this kind of marketing material on plastic affixed only by static or at the most by a very easy to peel off glue adhesive. This glue was very firm and the sticker peeled off in a top layer. It took we about 15 minutes to get this sticker off and it left a sticky residue that turned dark when I tried to rub it off. Fortunately I happened to have a bottle of Weiman's Adhesive Remover which restored the wood to a nice appearance. This could be a major irritant and the manufacturer should change this sticker.I am super pleased with this product. It is really a gem.A note about power: The power is supplied by an adapter that works from 100 to 240 volts input. (It says so on the unit, though this is standard for low voltage adapters for electronics.) I was told by the manufacturer that I would need a travel adapter as the unit is not packaged to be distributed in North America. However, the adapter actually has a built in North American plug with clip on adapters for the UK and Europe. There is no battery compartment and the size of this unit would make it an awkward portable.Delivery from the UK to Canada only took 4 days. Amazon took a deposit to cover customs charges. I did not have to pay anything at delivery. Shipping was reasonable and VAT was deducted form the price for sale in Canada. (export)

Good all round music centre.
THE GOOD: the unit looks good and I had no problems setting it up. I've had it for a couple of weeks and so far no faults (I've seen a few people saying that they had a faulty unit but maybe Pure has sorted this issue out now). The remote is fine and I have no problems with it. I haven't downloaded the app so I can't say how the phone control fares. It is super easy to select DAB stations and to select the different functions. The volume goes pretty high !THE NOT SO GOOD: the sound quality isn't brilliant, which is where it lost its stars for me. It is quite bassy so I had to lower the bass and increase the treble. This has made it sound a bit shrill but without the extra treble it just sounds muffled. I guess it's not a Bose and so, for the money, I shouldn't complain, however I think Pure could have done better on the sound quality. One other niggle I have is the lack of presets. My old Pure had 6+, this has only 3+ and you can't programme more than 3.OVERALL though, it's a good all round music centre and if you specifically want all of the features in one then I highly recomment it. However, if you really want a good sound quality then you might be better getting a separate CD player.

Pure CF-6: A very versatile radio - able to play from several different sources and it sounds great.
I wanted a DAB radio that would also play my CDs and be able to receive Internet radio (so that I could choose some decent music material from just about any ‘radio’ station and I often use this facility) as well as be able to receive music from my iPhone music collection, via Bluetooth (although it unfortunately isn’t capable of displaying either the artist or track name) - and play it through this fine sounding radio. The radio does all of the above very well, however:The key additional feature that I really wanted to have, was for it to be able to connect wirelessly to my Synology NAS system (using the DLNA interface) and play all of my music collection from there, which it does (displaying the CD album cover on its colour display - sourced from the NAS too).So I use the Radio to simply select one of the playlists that I have already created on the NAS (for various moods and/or situations) and this Pure CF-6 radio plays it.Finally, there is a remote control, but also there is a free App (Pure Select) which connects over the local network to this radio, from my iPhone and it allows me to select the source, and (if radio) the station and alter the volume, as well as wake the radio up, if it was in standby. Overall, superb versatility and great sound. On the downside - I think there are two points that aren’t so good about this Pure CF-6 unit (and both are somewhat surprising in these modern times) and they are: When playing a CD it doesn’t display any details whatsoever of the music - eg band name or song title, but simply T01 or T02 (for track 1 or 2 etc). And it is unfortunately the same when playing music via Bluetooth (eg from a phone) - no details are displayed at all. My ten year old car stereo player does both of these things, but incredibly this Pure unit doesn’t! A bit of a (basic) drop off I think regarding its design.Note: I ordered this late afternoon on a Thursday and the supplier did a great job getting it to me just two days later, delivered on the Saturday. Great service.
