Good buy to ease pain
The socks are comfortable , good quality and good to sleep in as the zipper is protected by a inner strip. My legs that are suffering diabetic neuropathy the socks have eased symptoms overnight so getting a much better sleep. There are no real disadvantages however I would measure your calf and feet carefully. I brought large as my measurements were just within the recommended size and they fit fine.

Good quality at a reasonable price
Not uncomfortable, so hope they have enough tension to be doing some good. Very well made but I suspect when you put them on you have to be careful to avoid too much tension where the bottom of the zip is stitch in. Otherwise, in time, there might be some danger of it ripping. Better to play safe.I had an infection on same leg twice since February, so realised that skin is damaged and bacteria getting in. I have very dry skin on my lower kegs and feet and poor circulation, checked by my surgery using ultrasound. The second time, just a few weeks ago I needed two weeks of antibiotics. So I realised I have to use ointment on my legs and feet regularly, also wear compression stockings. Those I got from the surgery under the NHS impossible to put on. However chatting to a neighbour first made me aware you can get them with zips down the side. I found plenty of zipped compression stockings here on Amazon and chose these from Ailaka with fabric under the zip. Some customers commenting on various brands made me see the need for that, saying that without it zips dig in and hurt. These are the only ones at a reasonable price where all the reviews are favourable.Being 78 years old and having lost my flexibility, still difficult to get the part on below the zip which goes over the foot in place, but with a bit of a struggle I do manage. With them just over my toes, I put my foot on a stool, lean forwards and my body weight helps me bend forward enough to do the job. Also, you have to hold the sides that zip together taut in the other hand so that they are close enough together to get the zip started, so that is difficult too. But I do manage. Also, having put Nivea cream on mid afternoon, that sank in and skin was not greasy. So much better than paraffin wax and glad surgery said that is OK instead. Everywhere on the web says to use paraffin wax if you have dry skin, but that just stays on the surface and stops moisture evaporating, does nothing itself to the skin. It is terribly greasy and I have a stain on my sofa I cannot completely remove.Worth knowing, so I also want to tell you this. After some research on the internet for skin creams, I found a few good articles. Good Housekeeping did a survey with 400 people involved, including medical people to assess the results. They said the best for nourishing skin is Nivea Q10 60+ Firming Body Lotion. The price is reasonable, whereas a lot is sold at prices for people with more money than sense. Unlike paraffin wax, it sinks in, is pleasant to use, so hopefully is helping improve the skin condition. A nurse at my surgery thought it was a good choice instead of paraffin wax. In the UK, the cheapest at the moment appears to be Superdrug at £4.99. I only discovered that literally just now, so bought mine at £5.50 in Tesco on a special with their card, so stocked up with enough probably for the rest of my life!

good product, good quality.
The socks were excellent quality, the zips have a proper seam inside to prevent hurting of legs and chafing. I bought these for my sister however they were slightly too big for her and I will have to buy them again. As I missed the return date with no printer in the house for the label. Otherwise good product, good quality.

help for puffy ankles
desperate to help my legs and ankles from puffing up so much, I decided to give these support socks a go. I have to say they haven't entirely cured the problem but do support mu legs well and by the end of the day my ankles aren't so badly swollen. Important to buy the right size though.

So easy to put on!
Much better than standard compression hose. No too tight on my foot. The only improvement I could suggest is use a non-stretch material for the zipper pull.

Great product , however had to order size down.
Hopefully the next size down will work. I used the guide for ordering found it didn’t work out.The material seems to a good quantity, will let you know more later.

Ailaka Medical Compression Socks
Putting on the compression Socks are a breeze, Very easy. I have tried several of them without the zipper is futile. They wear well. But I just don't understand why just because they are Medical, they have to be such a dark miserable color. It certainly doesn't make your apparel especially for dress to look nice, or for casual . Also when I wear my sandals, the open toed bunches under the straps! Very comfortable ,
