Does something?.
Used it as directed on my old Mazda 6 2.0d as it was starting to stick on the throttle. I had had the EGR get blocked a year or so ago and knew that this was a precursor so I decided to try the Wynns. Anyway so far after 200 miles I do not get any throttle stick, but there is less power and fuel consumption is worse. I guess it has done something and I did not see anything come out the exhaust so I guess it may still be working through the engine. So I would suggest it is worth a try if you have a suspicion if it is something that you need, but I don't think it is as magic as it claims!Update - so when I was disconnecting the air hose I managed to break a plastic nipple that fed the turbo and so I was not getting that kicking properly. I have managed to fit a brass nipple to replace this air feed and so now the car is back to normal. So I have raised the review to 4 as it has worked for what I wanted and I managed to get the soot out the exhaust. I just think they should be more clear at the problems of disassembling the plastic pipes and parts around the air intake as it could be expensive for someone using this product.I would admit though that I will use this product again when I need it.

Low end is as smooth as a hot knife through butter
I've had my car for 2 and a bit years, it's a moderately old car, 11 years and counting. I used this after some wynns 7in1 fuel additive. It was running considerably better after but decided to give it some egr/air intake cleaner anyway to keep on top of things. Honestly, the difference was subtle but noticeable, but I don't think there was much wrong with the engine to begin with.I only used half a can of this on my car, I don't think it needed more, and it took 20 minutes as it was, compared to the advertised 10. Maybe I just wasn't being aggressive enough with it. One thing I will note is that most people say to spray it into your air intake or just after the MAF, I read the instructions online and it tells you to put the spray in AFTER the intercooler, preferably into the air intake manifold directly (I put it in after the intercooler just before the throttle body), and also that the car should be run at just under 2k rpm, not idle like a lot of people do.After this, I took it on a run and instantly knew it had done something. The low rpm acceleration was as smooth as silk; I didn't even know there was anything wrong with the car before this. I just thought it was how diesels were. Again, I can't claim it helped my mpg or total power, but I didn't have much of a problem with that after the fuel additive, and my engine wasn't too dirty anyway, but smoothness it helped with.I will definitely be making this a part of my yearly maintenance schedule.

Wow.....
So i own 3 cars (not expensive ones - i'm not rich at all) i used this on my Ford Mondeo ST tdci (it's a modified beast) one thing i had been meaning to do was blank my EGR as it isn't needed in a car and is only there to meet government legislations (according to my car enthusiast friends and mechanics) the EGR was choking my engine at gears 1 & 2 at approximately 1000 - 1750 RPM - basically when i was pulling off. I've been meaning to blank it out but ยฃ150 plus a remap (which is needed if making changes to something your ECU recognises) was too much for something small that bothered me. So I ordered a can because of bellowing reviews in and out of Amazon. I followed instructions to a tee and i was genuinely terrified when using this as it made my engine tick loudly and shake and make this very scary banging noise at each spray. It said it would at the back of the can. I thought i was going to kill my engine but persevered and about 10 mins and a can of this later i took it for a drive with my nephew (another car enthusiast) to put it into perspective, he asked me about 30 seconds into the drive if i had "fixed my car" lol my response was "there was nothing to fix. I cleaned the EGR valve" and he didn't believe me. One week on and no choking and smooth driving experience. Feels like a new car - no exaggeration. I've been a fan of Wynn's for a while now but this surpasses all their products. Buy it if you need your EGR valve cleaned. If you don't need it cleaned, buy it anyway because you'd be surprised at what it will do. Note: please be sure where your air intake is and where your EGR valve is. All you need to do is remove air filter and spray into manifold before the EGR and turbo (if you have one)Happy driving!
