Brilliant!
I have been using electric toothbrushes for several years now, on advice from my dentist (they are far better than using a normal toothbrush). I started with an Oral B toothbrush, which I used constantly for 5 years - it still works and I have it stored away somewhere. I then moved to the Philips Sonicare HX6782/33, the Rolls Royce of electic toothbrushes. This was really good (and cleaned better than the Oral B), but after three years it broke (the on/off button stuck in the 'on' position so it won't charge).I bought a cheaper Philips Sonicare HX3110/02 in an attempt to save some money, but alas all sonicares are not built the same, and the '3110 is absolutely rubbish! So by now a bit miffed with Sonicare, I thought I would give something else a try: the Colgate. The C200 is by far the smallest and lightest of all the electric toothbrushes. It is at least half the weight of both the Sonicare and Oral B, and is the only one that actually feels like a normal toothbrush in your hand because it is almost as light. The supplied toothbrush head is small, but dentists generally recommend a small head as they clean much better than larger heads (I was actually advised to use children's toothbrushes by my dentist!).The C200 instructions list the life of the toothbrushes as three months, which is longer than the Sonicare ones. As of this writing, the toothbrush comes with a 30 day challenge: if you are not satisfied with the toothbrush you can return it. So hold on to the box! Incidentally, the packaging is very 'present sized' (its about the same size as a trainer shoebox and the box is a rather fetching metallic red), so this would make a pretty good gift.Downsides: the toothbrush comes in grey with a grey toothbrush head. If you are buying two or more, you will immediately need to buy a pack of replacement heads to change the toothbrush colour on one of them: the four pack comes with grey, green, blue, white. Unlike the Sonicare heads, the Colgate heads are all of fixed colours than cannot be changed, so you will always end up with more grey ones if you are buying for several people.Upsides: The fact that the C200 is currently cheaper than all competing toothbrushes, and as good as the Sonicare HX3110 (which costs 5 times as much!) makes it a steal at the current price. If you are buying for more than 3 people (in which case the inability in choosing colours may become a slight issue), four stars, otherwise a full five. Its the perfect toothbrush for me: good quality for the price and the cleaning action is up there with the most expensive Sonicare!

Surprised by the quality
It is my first electric toothbrush. Since now I was using aquafresh toothbrushes. The electric brush comes packed very nice. From the box you can tell that it is a quality product. I was expecting the brush to be more fat than it is. But it is almost like regular brush. The charger fells rock solid. The Head is very small. It can be attached and unattached very easy. The toothbrush cleans the plaque very well. It uses significantly less toothpaste. You have a feeling of more clean teeth. I you are not used to electric toothbrushes the cleaning may hurt a little and tinkles the gum. At first its uncomfortable but after one week the tinkle will stop. The only thing I don't like is the brush stays too loose in the charger. It must be more steady.

What can I say? It's a toothbrush.
My dental hygienist recommended this toothbrush. The small head fits behind and between my teeth making them easier to clean. The 30-second timer is useful but it loses a * for 2 reasons: 1) I keep accidentally hitting the off switch. Of course, it's easy to switch on again, but the timer resets. 2) I charged it overnight (more than 16 hours) but the red light never went out. It didn't wind down before I charged it again 3 weeks later prior to a holiday so I can't comment on how long a full charge lasts.Bottom line? I'm impressed. It's better - and quieter - than my old electric toothbrush, but I wish it would switch off when I wanted it to instead of when I told it to. And I wish the red light would go out so I know when it's fully charged. If this is all I have to worry about, life is good. Unless my hygienist says otherwise at my next appointment.

If you want to buy an electric toothbrush this will tick all the boxes
If, like me, you want to try an electric toothbrush as opposed to a manual one then I can't fault this on price and ease of use. It's easy to use, fairly stylish for a toothbrush and with Colgate you know it's a trusted brand. What I will say is manage your expectations. Using this will help improve your dental health, but I eventually went back to a manual toothbrush. I like being able to control how long I brush for, you can use this in two minute bursts, and I also worried that I wasn't cleaning my teeth as vigorously as before with the manual toothbrush. If you combine this with flossing, and mouthwash I think the price is good enough for you to trial using this. Just make sure that you are not asking it to do more than it's capable of.

You want clean teeth? Look no further
This is the slimmest and lightest electric toothbrush I've ever had. Don't know about you but I'm used to having a cheese-grater toothbrush so I feel like I've brushed my teeth. I have to say that although it has a very different brush feel, my teeth do feel cleaner. I bought this because my dentist recommends Colgate in all things holy. Probably receives lots of free things to say that, we're not all stupidous you know. The down side is, if I had a burglar break in, this toothbrush would not defend me unlike my previous brush, the Braun. I challenge anyone to try to get past a Braun toothbrush, would have saved Richard III at Bosworth and history would have been changed forever. Prince Charles could have ended up selling flowers in a layby in Nuneaton and running a sideline in home produced veggies grown by Camilla. Harry would have been a farmhand with all the local gels on his arm and William would have been a librarian in Coventry. I diversify, it's a great toothbrush and my gums are very happy. They'd better not bleed over the next few days like in the advert ...
