Very light and easy to use. Cuts through plywood nicely !
I got this to cut out intricate shapes in marine ply for some repairs to seat bases in a boat I was doing. I already had some Makita 10/12v tools and batteries, so it made sense to get this and no one wants a corded tool when doing intricate shapes as the wire gets everywhere, so this was idea.It comes with a wood blade, so you don't need to buy anything else for a while if that is all you are doing, but I also bought a set of 3 plastic/wood/metal blades too as I didn't know it came with one supplied.No carry case unfortunately, just the cardboard box it comes in. But overall, an excellent tool and a good buy at a good price.

GREAT PRODUCT and lighter to use than the 18v range
I am a female using DIY products so bought a whole suite of 10.8v as the normal 18v was too heavy.being totally female, I also love the colour of the Makita!this saw works fabulouslyin fact a young gentleman has been using my 10.8v makita tools and says for a kit that travels in the car (which is what mine does) its faultless! he says better than some 18v products and better then my older 18v makita drill actually he saysHIGHLY RECOMEND

Well,I bought makita jigsaw - JV101DZ 10,8v - CXT, without battery!Why you do not say what type of battery it’s matched with this tool and what type of charger I need to buy??The same problem with makita -impact driver DTD152Z , 18V - 160Nm, I bought from you!I am really disappointed because of this!

Man sollte immer 2 Akkus haben, dann geht es wenn man nicht die ganze Zeit am sägen ist. Sehr praktisch ohne Kabel. Qualität ist super.
