A superb set of IEMs that punch well above their weight
after doing a bit of research on various different forums (headfi.org being the main source), i decided to take the plunge and try the Brainwavz.i previously owned some sennheiser cx-300 II's (a genuine pair) which after 2 years had finally given up the ghost. I liked the 300's and thought they were a good deal for the price i paid (£30 if i remember correctly). After seeing the price of the brainwavz i thought i would be buying some very similar headphones. i was wrong!these headphones are clearly in a different league to the price that they sport.sound quality:i listen to a lot of electronic music and what i noticed straight away is that these headphones have a very warm sound. the natural sounding elements are really brought to the foreground and sound lovely on the ears (house music in particular). but thats not to say that the M2's lack in other departments. There is a good amount of bass (not too much as i sometimes found with the cx300's) and the highs sound nice and clear. the soundstage is also significantly improved! melodies that sounded slightly blurred and unspectacular now shine in all their glory, which has made me appreciate tracks that i had little appreciation for. I'm very happy with the sound of the M2's, i really do prefer them to the sennheisers.build quality:equally as impressive as the sound! the cable is thick and strong, which doesn't get tangled easily. the rubber grommets are colour coded (a useful feature!) which feel very strong and durable. The headphones themselves are made out of metal rather than plastic, so i get the impression that they could take some degree of abuse. The headphones also come with a free 1 year warranty, which is a nice touch!i cant really think of any negatives. if i had paid £50 for these i would still be impressed!

Quality Earphones !
OK , I have them for one year already. And I have used them intensively, daily - and are working and sounds just like the first day. The cable is not showing any tracks of wearing so far (which exceeds my expectations, since my previous ear phones, have failed in this category). The Sound quality is amazing (If you like to listen quality music - these earphones is a must). The quality/price value is great and affordable !However, I gave 4 stars only, because it has two flaws (by construction) which I really need it:1. Doesn't have a microphone (which could help me with my daily calls during my training or walking around).2. The gold plated jack - it's shaped in "L-profile" form - and during long walks or running on treadmill it's irritates me, since I have to re-position my phone inside my pocket. I would prefer an "I-profile" form which I believe suits better to my needs !Apart the two construction issues, these earphones are the best I've ever had and it's win-win choice for me !Rgds

Break Easily!
At first everything looked and sounded great. I burned them in, and was just starting to enjoy them after my CX 400 II's broke. However one day, about a week after purchase, they simply stopped working, no sound or anything. They come with a 1 year warranty, which is useful, but it won't cover this :(

The sound quality is great though. Certainly can tell the difference between £4 ...
Came with a slightly faulty left ear. Made that fuzz that ear phones tend to make after a month of use. The sound quality is great though. Certainly can tell the difference between £4 earphones.Though the left ear bud rubber guard was loose. ay be a good product, but I won't be buying again due to problems with the item upon delivery. Just that ear fuzz which drives me MAD

Great balance between cost, build quality and performance
I bought my M2s last July but waited until I'd had them for a few months (so they would well 'run in') before filling in a review. They are mainly used with a Galaxy S4 as an alternative to the Samsung IEMs (which I think are a great deal better than most 'free' earphones). I also use a pair of Koss Porta Pros and was looking for a similar sound quality at a sensible price (less than £40). The M2s have actually exceeded my expectations and I now prefer them to the Porta Pro (accepting that IEMs and over the ear phones are not going to perform exactly the same). The M2s seem to have a wider sound stage but with a similar balance between high and low frequencies. Sensitivity is very similar and I have no trouble using them with the S4 and an ageing S3 mini. They seem to be an excellent fit with the quality of music that I use on the S4 which is generally encoded as VBR MP3s at around 192 kbps. Mechanically they are robust although you do have to get used to the leads which are very 'springy' when compared to most other IEMs.

Great sound, lacking in durability...
I've been jumping from earphone to earphone trying to find a pair that lasts longer than 3 or 4 months. Sadly, the Brainwavz M2 were no different. Within a couple of months, the wire for the right earphone began to fray at the bottom, and a month or so later, the right earphone had stopped working altogether. It's a shame, because Brainwavz make great sounding earphones, but they compromise too much when it comes to build quality.

Really well-built, solid design, good sound quality
These are better than the average, bundled earbuds - middle of the range - but with good sound quality. Not 'thin', reasonable bass, clear. Sound is 4 star - based on 5 stars for 'awesome', which very few ear buds are going to achieved. So good sound for ear buds!! Good selection of ear pads. Comfortable. Good value.Main asset is that they seem to be strong and durable. The cable and cable-enty points are well designed. They're all good so far (2-3 months of use)!

Excellent sound signature !
They are just as described on the box. Box was a bit torn but that was fine. Manufactured date : Dec '16.Product is brand new and original. Sound is smooth and you can listen for hours. Bass is detailed and very good.A beautiful IEM with a powerful base, warm mids and smooth highs. Lets see how much it lasts.

Smooth Sound Perfect For Day Long Use
Very impressed with the audio quality of these in-ear buds. The audio signature is very smooth and allows for extended listening periods with no audio fatigue. That smoothness hides some detail but when you busy working etc that matters little.Highly recommended.

ESPECTACULAR SONIDO
