Excellent value for money.
At £4.99 for a 7 piece mini roller set, you can't really go wrong. At my local DIY store they were selling a mini roller set which comprised of a roller, tray ans a couple of sleeves at the same price. The roller and tray are made of good quality plastic material. The high density foam sleeves are ok. In my experience the sleeves fair well when compared to other brands in the same price bracket. On one of the sleeves the foam came off the roller on one end. Like all these products at this price range, they can't take much abuse. I managed to gloss a set of woods planks for my open air drying cupboard and to paint the doors under the stairs. The mini roller kit is more than adequate to cope with your average DIY job around the house. If the product is unworthy of a good review, I think it is unfair to leave positive feedback as this can mislead potential buyers. I hope you found the review helpful. Please click on the “Yes” button below.

Tray broken on delivery
The tray was split within the packaging, lucky I already had one and I was just looking for the rollers but still it was split quite badly. Other than that the foam rollers were quality for the cupboards and tiles.

The cost.
It's the first time I have used foam rollers', did the job with enamel as instructed by the manufacturer. Towards the end of the second coat of enamel, the foam split a little, but instead of changing the roller, I took a chance and carried on, it was worth the gamble, no streaks or blemishes, well done Hamilton, Highly recommended.Another similar job lined up for the new year and will be using Hamilton foam rollers' then.Highly recommended.

..an old dog
Having bought these on a whim(they were an 'add-on')I've had them in the cupboard for a few months, a tad wary about using a 'gimmicky' roller on woodwork (I've been painting for fifty odd years (diy) and have always been a brush man(!) and a bit fussy too boot!)Right, so I thought I'd give them a go, and, y'know, I'm pretty impressed. I used a water-based eggshell paint and in a quarter of the time a brush'd take, the job was done, and the finish seems as good if not better than I usually get!I noted a few comments on the foam breaking up and wondered if this might be that the oil-based paint is too thick and sticky - makes me think that if I were to use such paint I'd maybe let it down a bit with white spirit? So I've held back a star on that proviso but, so far, so pretty good!!
