Xbox One S FIFA 17 Console Bundle (1TB)

Great item, however my son was pleased to receive this on Christmas Day but the downside was the download game. It started downloading around 3pm and was completed the next day. Then, it took a further 1 1/2hours to set up accounts and stuff just to be able to play. We dont know if it was the content of the game or if every household in our neighbourhood were using the internet at the same time. I bought him a physical game but again he couldnt play this until the other game had downloaded. One of the upsides is the tv content and we can link my amazon prime account and watch things from there. Better quality than our old playtv via ps3.

I bought this for its capabilities as a 4K UHD Blu Ray Player as, at time of purchase, it is cheaper than the dedicated players. Being also a games console comes as a pleasant bonus. Having said that, I have spent a lot of time playing games on it as well. I'm glad I went for the 1Tb model (which I purchased as it was on offer at the time for a lower price than the 500Gb) as I am filling it up with purchased, free and XBox Live Gold games.The library of games is very good and most can be purchased through the console itself for downloading digitally (although you may get them cheaper in the shops, particularly if you don't mind used copies). There are free demos of many games (including first chapters of series) and with XBox Live Gold membership, you get free games each month and discounts as well. Many Xbox 360 games are playable and can also be purchased through the console.As for the Blu Ray playing facility, it works fine but there are some issues. The first is minor in that you have to download an app to get the player to work. The other issues are more serious. Firstly, it does not play data disks so if you rely on AVI, MP4 and similar file formats burnt to disk, they will not work on this player. Secondly, the controller and menu system is not ideal for DVD/BluRay. I don't know whether the generic remotes you can buy are compatible with it but the Xbox controller makes it very difficult to negotiate beyond ordinary playback.If you already have the original Xbox One, it is probably to worth buying this, unless you particularly want a 4K BluRay player. If not, it is probably ones of the best consoles available at the present time, along with the PS4. Please note that you do need an unlimited internet connection to get best use out of this. Even games purchased on disk often need hefty data downloads.

This is my 3rd xbox one s order in a short period of time, brand new.(first two orders from different suppliers)They all had/have the same fault, they DO NOT connect to a fully working ethernet cable, ALL 3 of them! This must be a serious problem and i can't believe that a business like microsoft making faulty consoles for the end user to sort out.So if you like a wired xbox one s and you cannot be bothered to send it all back and wait even longer then DO NOT BUY!-5 stars to microsoft, 5 star to amazon for refunding. Please amazon, DO something about this!

The Xbox is fantastic, works well and looks great. Only disappointed at the controller, broke after less than a week of use. Unbelievable, but not the fault of the dispatcher

My boys got this for Christmas, and have not yet been able to use it (today is 28th December). Firstly, it took a day to do updates once it was switched on. They then gave up trying to download Fifa 17, as it only got to around 30% after another day. They have also given up on a game with a disc, as it also required updates which, after another day, is still only on 56% completed. Admittedly, our WIFI speeds are not great, but the need to download everything before playing currently means that this was a completely useless present.

WOW - This is absolutely quality.So much quicker around the Xbox One Home Dashboard, general tasks are a lot quicker. So no more buffer face.The picture on games looks sharper with better quality.The design is how the first Xbox One should have been, small, streamline, you can actually fit it places without it sticking out like a sore thumb. There is no longer a power brick - thank you Microsoft, it's about time!The texture on the controller I thought would be better, but the design is cooler.Chuffed with this

I ordered the X Box One and some games as a Christmas gift for my grandsons, after a big debate in the family whether to buy X Box or Sony PS4. X Box won because most of their friends have X Box, and there seemed to be more games available suitable to their ages (almost 10 and just 8).To the boys' great disappointment, and my frustration, the first X Box had to be returned as it was faulty. Despite hours wasted on updates and discussions with Microsoft, it would simply not work properly. Microsoft recommended returning it to Amazon.This was a simple process, and I was refunded very quickly. I ordered a replacement that arrived the next day by express. The second X Box worked perfectly from the start, but it still took a long time to download games and updates, and to create online accounts and profiles. This is really annoying. Why can't console makers sell something that you simply switch on, put in the disc, and play????Anyway, after going through the tedious setup​ process the replacement X Box has worked perfectly and given lots of fun. The graphics are excellent and so is the gameplay on the wide range of games they now own. My grandsons, and my son-in-law, are delighted.
