Speedo Unisex Swimming Cap Adults

I've been using this Speedo swimming cap for over 2 years, and it has been excellent. I use it almost every day for swimming, showers, the sauna, and the steam room, and I've never had any issues with leaks, tears, or fading colour. The material is thick, flexible, and very durable. Even when stretching it to put it on, I've never worried about it tearing. It fits comfortably, is easy to use, and provides great hair protection during swimming and showering. It's also suitable for people with longer hair because there's plenty of room without feeling overly tight. One thing to be aware of is that prolonged use in very hot saunas or steam rooms for more than 10 minutes may affect the plastic over time, but this hasn't caused any major issues for me. The cap still looks great, and the colour remains as good as new despite years of regular use. I was so happy with the quality and durability that I bought an extra one as a spare. Overall, it's comfortable, sturdy, long-lasting, and excellent value for money. A fantastic swimming cap that I would happily recommend.

The first cap I got tore on first use but the seller replaced it. I’ve had to be super conscious when putting it on. It’s a nice cap, the only downside is that it rides up, making the base and the front of my hair wet. I guess that’s better than getting the whole hair wet

Good and versatile

It's did last 6 weeks and it ripped

Purchased in August 2024, currently July 2025 and it is intact and shows no visible sign of potentially ripping, and functions as a swim cap. Since it is silicone, it does not require baby (talcum) powder to put on unlike latex caps that are a lot thinner, cling to the hair more, and are more prone to ripping. The only maintenance I perform is rinsing it with cool water after every swim, as advised. I am a male with short(er) hair so it fits well but it does have a tendency to slide up my ears when swimming so it does require semi-frequent adjustment during laps. This might be a problem with open water swimmers or triathletes. DOES NOT KEEP HAIR DRY - unfortunately, the purpose of all competitive/training swim caps is to reduce drag and to keep hair in place rather than keep the head dry. I understand this + short hair so im not too bothered by this. Edit: Would recommend buying more than one at a time as I have noticed that some can last 1year plus whilst some last only a couple of months so I would recommend buying a [few] spares to leave in your swim bag as back ups.
