HTC EVO 3D Car Navigation Kit 99H10337-00 (Retail Packaging)

Mounted beautifully and stays mounted. Phone fits great. No shaking. Feels solid.Two small problems with the product received:1. The camera on the back is covered in the phone's normal mounting/charging position. Since I wanted to use this phone to video the road in front of me, this is a problem. It is possible, however, to flip the phone upside down and still use it this way. It just doesn't fit quite right and won't charge. I think if I were to remove the built-in charger plug, it would fit right and I could just run the charge cord straight to the phone.2. The included cord when plugged into my computer will charge the phone but once plugged in, there's no options offered by the pc or the phone to either choose "charge only" or "disc drive". I still use my original charge cord that came with the phone for this. Upsetting since I would rather use my original cord in the car and the longer one this came with in the house. Basically, this cord will be thrown in the drawer for emergencies or travel without my car.

I already have a built in GPS equipped in the vehicle. Well, it reduces the clutter on my passenger seat and it provides a nice charging station to mimic the docks I have at the both my office and at my home. This device eliminates the need to reach for a power cord in order to charge my phone. I am now contemplating getting a cordless radar detector to connect to my phone as well.***Note***This device does not do anything other than serve as a charger/holder for your phone. Pay as little as possible for the device.***End Note***

I think the last OEM car mount that I bought from Sprint was about $40. That one broke in two weeks.I'm a designer. This mount is designed well. It's built upon a proven design from google (Nexus development). You just need to adjust by rotating phone holder before mounting. The sucking is great. I was worried because of the previous review, but obviously, it's user difficulty or issue. They probably need to clean the windshield or something.Overall, it's great. The car charger with two USB port alone cost around $5 or so, this is a good deal.Most of the mount at this price range tend to vibrate a lot when driving around, but this one is solid, it sticks with the cars movements, and it stays stable. Adjustment is easy if you want to move it around, but holds place. I do have to admit that HTC EVO car dock is crap, which automatically goes into once you mount it.

The mount only works with stock case NO armor on at all. Not very adjustable to get a good angle with it. Comes with nice car charger and cord(usb cig and cable). It does charge while mounted, and I think its better then a generic one.

Was about to buy a navigation system for my 18 wheeler but found your navigation cradle that turns my EVO into a navigation which has more features then I knew. It's a great product and recommend to a friend that has same phone! Just wish Sprint would do a truck route on there navigation app!

Reading the installation instructions is important for this device. It may seem awkward at first, but it is very easy to use. Once you install it for the first time, it is a breeze.

At $2.60 plus shipping this is an awesome deal for top quality product. It certainly looks like the official HTC car kit for the EVO 3D. I have a thin rubber case on my phone and it still fits easily into the mount.As mentioned previously, it comes with a dual usb charger and usb power cord. The charger is rated at 1 amp so it will charge the phone as quickly as possible and let you run maps + music on your phone without running out of power. The usb car adapter and cord alone is a good deal at this price.The mount is top quality and contains a usb plug to keep your phone charged while its in the dock. I found the suction cup to be extremely strong and I have had no problems with it staying put. It does take a little of twisting to get pieces of the mount to where you want them and it isn't immediately obvious about which piece to twist. Once I starting twisting the part that holds the phone, then getting it to fit where I wanted it became much easier.I like just dropping the phone into the holder and its powered off the car. No more fumbling around with the power cord and chasing the phone all over the front of the car when it falls off the console!

I loved using this for long trips, but after about 6 months it just quit working. Phone would no longer charge while docked, so it basically just became a phone holder. Too bad.
