Jeronimooooo!!!
I've had mine for just over a week now and feel I must warn potential purchasers of one major flaw with this product. I cant seem to put it down so my right hand is pretty redundant. Sure you can turn the telly over with it, but you try filling a form in when you're flicking this bloody thing open and closed a thousand times a day. This is simply the best replica you'll buy without spending a small fortune (believe me I've looked). The sounds in FX mode are perfect. It looks fantastic and even the weight feels right once you've put the batteries in, which is slightly more fiddly than should be necessary but that's a minor niggle. As a remote control it works well enough and it's very easy to programme, but after a while you will realise that its just easier to use your remote control. However as a replica with an impressive gimmick it's absolutely brilliant. It flicks open nicely.....very nicely. And it looks and sounds very authentic. As stated in other reviews the closed locking mechanism is a bit weak. but I suppose that's the trade off for it flicking open so satisfyingly. The packaging and stand provided are pretty basic (though it does come with a nice blue print poster) but don't worry about that as you wont put it down much.Basically if you're a doctor who fan just buy the damned thing. you wont regret it.

A fun, solid product.
Excellent replica. Good weight. A good improvement on the non-extending original. External is solid. Disappointed at the plastic look and matt feel of the green and copper plastic inside, lets it down a little. An LED for an internal glow would have been a nice touch. Clasp in retraction not strong, and doesn't hold well. When extended, extended body feels loose and rattles. Retraction not as smooth as could be. Clockwise and anti-clockwise movements take a while to get used to. Disappointed at clear plastic stand. After having said this, a good quality, solid feeling prop, excellent value. A must for any Dr Who fan, or those who enjoy the delights of modern, wire free technology.

Fantastic
Great screwdriver, Great quality, looks fantastic, feels fantastic! Hours of fun in FX mode and controlling your TV (and turning off any TV) the extension feature could not be more satisfying however when closed it does extend quite easily, just turning it upside down, but this does not happen doing the gestures as it is quite sensitive (this means that just putting it down after controlling your TV could change the channel so be careful) I cannot believe that the 10th doctors plasticky, lightweight, fragile screwdriver is made by the same people (I sent mine back and got this one, I don't reccomend the 10th doctors, the emmiter came off mine) that screwdriver is not a patch on this one!!

Amazing piece of equipment!
I don't usually buy things like this, but when I did, I was just amazed at the build quality. The weight, balance, features, details accuracy- everything is just so nicely done! The only issue for me was that it is a bit loud. But then again, this device deserves to be noticed. So overall to me this is a good investment. It works really well as prop, it works as a really nice display item and it most certainly is a brilliant universal remote. For a price like this, you really get a lot than you may think. Highly recommended. 😆👍🏼

One of the best thing I have bought of Amazon and love it
One of the best thing I have bought of Amazon and love it, got next day deliver and haven't stopped holding it since getting it. I would highly recommend this product to any Doctor Who fans great for the collection. The design of the Sonic is amazing and holds really well in your hand with a good weight to it.

Wibbily wobbly, fun novelty, TV... stuff
It's ok for the novelty of it.. i.e. looks good displayed, but doesn't work as well as you would like it to. My TV in my bedroom works well, but if your TV takes a long time to turn on, it may not work for said button on the 'wand'. I have read somewhere there is a way of making it work, but if I didn't see this, I would of thought it didn't work altogether. I have used it on my virgin media box, but it keeps wiping the buttons I programme it to. I'm sure it is great for old/non-smart TVs... But that doesn't explain why the 'wand' wipes on my virgin media box. It is very up, down, left, right... What I mean by this is, if you programme it to turn the channel over, by waving it upwards.. You have to be dead straight... As in like a robot moving it... not really 3D as you would like it to be. All in all, feels great for the weight.. As you would think it would be like. It flicks out too easy, looks great, but not very 3D in the movement... Great for novelty, but a lot faster to use the remote that came with your TV.

Fantastic Screwdriver!!
The screwdriver is amazing and surprisingly it does not go through batteries at all I have had this since October/November and haven't had to replace the batteries once! This is amazing value as a remote or just a prop replica! It's great value for money as a prop replica as the rubbertoe replica is £400+ with the noise where as this is £80 and it makes a variety of noises as well as works on the TV!Although the stand is cheap and flimsy the screwdriver is perfect!

Unfortunately not a good buy to say I’m a massive doctor who fan
The button was faulty and whenever I pressed it, it continued to go through commands that I didn’t want. Unfortunately not a good buy to say I’m a massive doctor who fan. Disappointed
