Exceptional feel, excellent custoner support. Noisy keyboard but that’s what I wanted!
Only three stars I'm afraid as the keyboard has now developed a fault and only after 6 months of very light use. The fault is that it continually and randomly connects and then disconnects from windows 10. And yes, I have ensured the keyboard is configured to so it does not turn off to save power, both in the device and also in all the USB hub and other USB settings under Device Manager. I have tried different keyboards and had no issue at all. What a shame as I have now gone past the point in which I can contact the seller for a replacement as I love the feel of this keyboard. Although quite loud in operation, I love the classic click clack sound and feel, the LED's which are a nessesity for darker rooms and small footprint for small or tight desks. I would have given it 5 stars if it lasted a couple of years.. Pity.**** Update ****I have since heard from the supplier just by submitting this review and they have offered a replacement at no charge and they do not expect the original back. I have received the keyboard and put it back into operation and so far so good, no issues. It just goes to show how important it is to submit the reviews as this company was diligent enough to watch them and then respond.Top marks to the supplier for excellent customer service. The replacent came within a week and all’s well so far hence the update from 3 stars to 5 stars. 👍

I like it!
After years of abuse took its toll on my old keyboard, I felt the need to upgrade to something of a higher standard. During one of Amazon's sales, I noticed these AUKEY Mechanical Keyboards on sale and decided to pick one up. After much faffing around with Amazon and the delivery people, I received what is a good solid keyboard .My original purchase was actually a disaster. Some clever sausage decided to send off my purchase in nothing but a blue bag. The result was a thick heavy keyboard being bent in half and smashed to pieces. Getting a replacement didn't take long, being polite to people on Amazon meant I got a refund and I placed a new order. This one came in a nice large Amazon cardboard box, protecting it from the fools working for Hermes. In the actual AUKEY Mechanical Keyboard box, there was nothing more than a piece of paper with the warranty on it and another featuring the instructions. The keyboard was literally a case of plug and play. Within a second, the thing lit up in a spectacular amount of colour and was instantly useable. My first impressions were very good. The AUKEY Mechanical Keyboard has a fine weight about it. This is great for a heavy handed numpty like myself. It'll take a good pounding from sausage fingers, unlike my last keyboard. The keys are thick and have a satisfying click to them. They don't feel quite as flimsy as the average keyboard but they are quite loud. I can imagine that might annoy some people. Personally speaking, I like a good old fashioned clicking keyboard. It's like music to my ears. There's a nice range of features on this AUKEY Mechanical Keyboard. There's of course multiple options to set the coloured lights. This is achieved by holding the FN+Ins keys. Some settings make it blink, others make the colour sweep side to side or around in a circle. My favourite is the ripple effect which sends a ring of colour in every direction after a keypress. I do warn you however, when you type as fast as I do, it's best not to watch it. It may give you a seizure. Other features include media control with the usual play/pause, forward and back skip buttons. There's also volume control, calculator, windows explorer and a search function button. For those who plan to use this for a work environment or around children, there is a very useful "lock" button that stops all keyboard functionality. If you don't want someone snooping or your kids randomly pounding the keys, this comes in very useful. The AUKEY Mechanical Keyboard is by far the best keyboard I've had in many years. It's a solid, heavy, sturdy thing. It doesn't take up much room and is very comfortable to use. It's also very bright and colourful. If this is something you're looking for when buying a new keyboard, this is definitely one for you

A great affordable mechanical keyboard
I've been using the keyboard for just about a week now and I can say I love every bit of it. It may not have all the fancy programmable settings that higher end backlit keyboards offer, but it does come with some useful presets. Too bad each row has its predefined colour and there's noway to have a monochrome backlight.Other than that, Outemo Blue switches are similar to the original Cherry MX ones. They are very clicky and the feedback you get from each switch is really satisfying. It's not a downside for me, but the bottoming out sound is loud, so if you need a quiet keyboard, this is most likely not the keyboard for you. Look for something with brown switches, as they are generally quieter for typing.Other than that, for the price, you are getting a solid keyboard with surprisingly great build quality. As of now (September 2017) I can confidently recommend this product if you are looking into buying a mechanical keyboard that doesn't cost an arm and leg. If you are into customising the backlight the way you want, you should probably look for something a tad more expensive. There are some Corsair keyboards in the range of £70-100 which may suit your needs better.

Good solid mechanical keyboard
Got this for myself for Christmas 2017, and am very satisfied with this. Haven't messed around with the LED setup, but there are options there for which keys get lit. Note that it isn't full RGB on each row, you get a diff colour across each row - doesn't bother me but might not be what everyone is looking for. Still, a great price for a nice, solid, glowy, clicky keyboard.Could be a bit loud for others if you do a lot of typing in a shared household, but for gaming it doesn't seem to be a problem. Keys are black with clear cutout shapes for the characters and it came with a selection of orange keycaps for WASD (and I think arrows as well), for extra gaminess. When I was looking at the various keyboards to buy, I noticed a slightly cheaper version of this, but on closer examination, noticed that the other, cheaper one was a US layout, this is definitely UK (ie "£~@ are where they should be)
