Comfortable
Very comfortable and easy to break in and they LAST! They keep the feet warm in the winter and on those chilly days. If you have a slighter wider foot then go for the extra wide. They fit like a glove and overall just worth it!

Perfect Fit!
These boots were perfect! They were exactly what my husband expected and more! He didn’t expect them to feel as light weight yet sturdy as they are. This was his first pair of Irish Setters and he will definitely be buying another air. These are definitely the most comfortable pair of boots he owns. The delivery was on time and the overall transaction was great!

Comfy and look beautiful
First pair of any type of red wing boot and I’m liking them. I will say my right pair is digging in to my heel a bit I had to wear thicker socks. I think they’ll break in and it won’t be an issue but for my type of job I think these will be great!*UPDATEOk so with thicker socks the rubbing is completely gone. I just put in 2 - 16 hour work days and they are great. No sore feet and I’m happy with my purchase!

Nice shoe
I bought these for my son, he says they're very comfortable. They were supposed to be for work but I've seen him wear them out as well. That tells me a lot 🤣💯

Good comfortable work boots for the price
I needed a second pair of boots to alternate with my redwings. Good quality leather and comfortable boots. No break in time really needed. For the price these are good boots.

So far so good.
So far so good, only been wearing them a few days now so my feet are still getting used to the support level, moved from a hiking type shoe to a work boot hoping to get better support and longevity. The leather is surprisingly soft and pliable right out of the box, they fit well, and they look nice. Had a 12 hour day in them yesterday and my feet weren't the sorest part of my body (walk around on hard surfaces average 7-10 miles a day). If they maintain comfort and hold up, the four star may become a five.Update: 6 months in the four star did become a 5 star. These seem to get more comfortable every day, the leather is pretty supple now, and other than having to get one of them stretched to accommodate a large foot, which is hardly the boots fault, they've been great. Just clean and oil them every three months or so, takes 10 minutes and it keeps the leather from drying out and water resistant. They also look brand new every time you're done, been using the sofsole mink oil, works really well.UPDATE:I've had these boots for about 8 months now and they have broken in very nicely. I did have to get one of them stretched a little (left foot is wider than my right foot), but that was no big deal. I walk around on hard surfaces all day (7-9 miles a day) and these boots have kept my feet in pretty good shape. They are getting close to needing a re-sole and I will definitely do that as opposed to getting a new pair, even thought the price isn't that different the leather has gotten so soft and supple I don't want to get rid of them. I find if you oil them regularly (1-2 months) they stay looking pretty new and supple. Great boot, going to get another pair for my camping and fishing trips.

Super comfortable after break in!
Great boots! Half of the redwing price and sooo good! I’ve been wearing them almost everyday for three years now. Most important is that they are super comfortable, my heels and my back doesn’t hurt after full day of walking. Definitely recommend! They’re worth the buck!

Comfortable and stylish
I recently decided to purchase a pair of work boots. Not wanting to spend too much money on a high priced pair of Red Wings to destroy, I did some research and came across the Irish Setter brand, which is the entry brand for Red Wings. The requirements were that it had to have a Goodyear welt (for durability) and have little to no break in period. These boots check those marks. The leather feels strong but is not uncomfortable. They have been getting more comfortable as I wear them. The insole is fiberboard I believe, covered with a comfortable insert that is removable/replaceable with a new or orthopedic one. Since they are made by Red Wing Shoes, I visited a local store to try them on. They did not have the style I wanted so I purchased them through Amazon. I’m usually a 10 in shoes (although it may vary by a half size) and settled on a 9.5 wide. The toe box is plenty spacious and they are not long to where it looks like I am wearing clown shoes. Overall very impressed. I do wish these had a leather midsole (rather than plastic which could crack) but for the price, the omission is understandable. I have seen several videos on YouTube of these boots being re-soled and modified to have a leather midsole. If these last, I may just purchase a new pair rather than attempting repair. These are stylish but also ready for work right out of the box. The only downside I have encountered is the laces. They seem to have a bit of give after being tied to where I feel they loosen a bit throughout the day. I’m not sure if it’s the way I walk or tie them. I replaced them with leather laces I had and have not had that issue.

One of the best mocs I've ever had
I have the OG Red Wing mocs, these are just as good, dare I say, better? They're comfortable!I these are the best purchase I've had in a while from amazonlately they've been severely lacking in the quality control, but these were just as the description says. They were a size 12, so i knew they were going to be slightly bigger than what im used to getting from Red Wingbut even so, they're just perfect, conforms to my feet just great! These are my my new daily driver boots. Forget about the basic Timbs, those are not even close to the quality these shoes are at. You do pay more, but it is worth every pennyThe only timbs I've ever liked were the Britton Hill Moc Toes, those are the only Timbs i can recommend. if you have the budget though, go for these, or have even more budget, get the OG Red Wingsc:
